Whoo-hoo....BWV standard-view @ 7-months during F&W

I'm so pysched I had to share it with you all

Snagged the last 1-BR standard for 5 consecutive nights in October!

We have only been owners for less than 2 years, so I'm not so sure- but I think we got really lucky! What do you guys think? How many standard 1-BR units are there anyway?

Going to waitlist the last 2 nights to avoid a split stay. (not that I'm afraid of the split, we did a 3-way split in December and I'm still sick of packing and moving from that stay... thinking we'll stick to one resort this go-round!)

Congrats and enjoy your stay.....not sure about now many 1 bedroom but glad you got one of them...i do know any size standard views are hard to book..we own at BWV and also have VWL points which we had to use for a trip this Sept/Oct....there was no availibility for our dates any view at BWV at the 7 month window when we tried to switch to a 2br at BWV.....but we were able to book a BCV 2 br...

Oh, Hey -Long Island neighbor!

Yes I felt very fortunate to get BWV at F&W time, let alone a standard view!
We just need to stretch our points- of course I would much rather have BW view, but we did that last December, so I can suck it up and do standard this year I guess! Happy just to stay there again, loved it!

Congrats!! We share your excitement..we also have a BWV 1-BR Standard view for 9 nights in October. We were using some SSR points along with some BWV points so had to wait for the 7 month mark. We were able to get 8 nights, then had to waitlist for the 9th and it came thru yesterday after only a few days of waiting. We are thrilled!! We also love BW views, but are taking lots of family in Oct of 2012 so we had to save some points for that trip. Have a great time!

Congratulations to all! I am very jealous -- I have been waitlisted for a 2br standard view for October for about 2 months. My seven month window was yesterday, but still nothing for me. Oh well, it still may happen!

Congrats!! We stayed there in 2006 for the F&W fest, what a great place to stay!!! We loved it, enjoyed hanging out at the Boardwalk at night for all the entertainment, and we still make a point of going to this day on all our vacations and spending one night hanging out on the boardwalk. Parking has gotten a little more difficult, but it's all good.

I agree and since the 2 bedrooms are all lock-offs, then once the studios are gone, there are no 2 bedrooms either, so an overflow of 1 bedrooms. Getting a 1 bedroom at BWV is always possible.

I called yesterday at my 7 month mark to try to change 5 nights @ SSR to BWV any view...They were missing just 1 night so I'm waitlisted for it.
