I'm looking for Ideas for a pretty clean Bachlorette party. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! thx!

You could have a spa party. Either go away for a weekend or some places allow you to rent out the spa for a few hours. You and your friends could get makeovers and have massages. I know a few people who did this and they had a great time.

Because all of my bridesmaids and attendants lived in various places with in like a 200 mile radius, we just got together for a nice dinner. Then, those of us who wanted to, got a hotel room nearby, went out and had a few drinks, and stayed the night together....like a girls night out. We didn't do anything crazy or raunchy. It was nice for me because the dinner allowed everyone to be there and the night at the hotel allowed us to keep the evening going for those who wanted to. I really wanted to spend time with those in the wedding party that lived farther away that needed to spend the night so the hotel room was a good idea.

Since i don't have too many girl friends and have 3 brothers i didn't have bridesmaids. But, however, i got 2 bacholorette parties. First one was with my 3 brothers, we went to an eagles game and tailgated before hand.

The 2nd was thrown by all the girls that work with my younger brother tim (my dude of honor). I am close with some of them but at least 20 girls showed up. They treated me to midnight bowling at a local bowling alley (a real nice one). It was fun, there was music and lights, etc. I was the only one drinking since they are all under 21 but it was definitely a clean party. It was real fun too. Some guys came as well which i think is nice.

I was thinking that the girls and I would get together a couple of days before the wedding and go get cocktails down at DTD. Nothing extravagant, but just something fun for us to do! The idea about a spa day would be fun as well!

Is there a limit on how much you would each like to contribute to the party? A spa party can be fun but costly depending on the services each person wants to do, there are even some companies that come to the house so that each person can get a mani/pedi and everyone stays together instead of being spread out throughout the spa.

For my friends bachelorette party (she was adamant about it being "non raunchy" and not a traditional bar scene) I did a scavenger hunt leading her on a goose chase to the finale of finding tickets to a play, but we didn't let her know which play it was until we got into the theatre and it was Tony n' Tina's wedding. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a laugh about trying to figure out clues and destinations leading us to the final one.

Whatever you decide on doing just have some fun and get everyone involved!

Since we are having an intimate we are getting parties for both of us from both sides of the family. My side is taking us on a big house boat on the lake my parents live on (drinks, dancing, food for about 25 people) His side is taking us on a bowling and beer party(I'm really looking forward to this one ) So classy, I know his brothers are going to see who can belch the loudest

I want to go to Nashville, Tn to the Opryland hotel- they just opened a spa there, they have restaurants and bars in the hotel complex and a huge Mills mall within walking distance- I think mine should be clean as I will be furious if I get a disguting stripper

Gaylord also has The Palms if you don't want to go all the way to Nashville. I'm not sure if they have the spa there yet, but we went to the one in Nashville and it was VERY nice.


We're just doing mini golf at WDW for our "party".

That's not too bad then. Yes, the Palms is the one in Florida. I just checked out their website, and the spa there is a Canyon Ranch. www.gaylordpalms.com

I had a bunch of girls over. We had drinks,snacks, etc. Those that drank had to stay. So, I rented chick flicks and we had a pajama party! I'm not really a "club-hoppin'" kind of chick and have no interest in seeing a bunch of naked, sweaty men running around!

My friends took me on a cruise with a local Jimmy Buffet cover band. It was hosted by a local radio station. It was perfect for me!! The lead singer turns out to be a friend of my dad's and I didn't even know it. They pulled all of us "brides to me" up on stage...there were 3 of us onboard. And we sang some song....if I remember correctly, it was something from grease. I was mortified being up there. Turns out that a few people I went to High School with were on it too...it was too funny. I had a blast.

for my sister's party (we are in New Orleans) we are driving to gulf shores for teh weekend and are just going to relax and hang out and we are having a little lingerie party while we are ther (but you could always do something else) bit just girls weekend hanging out and doing a lot of nothing and getting some sun! i can't wait!

Im planning my best friend's bachlorette party and we are doing a getaway weekend and spending one day doing winery tours and tasting. She wanted something low key and tame. I promised her that it would be.

We just went to the beach for the day and evening and came home the next morning...I wasn't all into the debauchery evening...what we did was fun

We are going to Napa Valley. On the first day, we are going to go wine tasting and on the second day, we are going to the spa.
