Whole30 At Disney... Any Recommendations?

I would say do your best to follow Whole30 on your trip, but don't beat yourself up if you deviate because you won't have 100% control over your food. If your goal is to make heathier food choices, you will definitely be doing so if you try to follow the Whole30 guidelines. After the trip, if you feel you weren't able to stick to it, you can always start over.

The problem is you cant "do your best" on the Whole30... its 100% for 100% of the time or its FAILURE- it pretty much spells this out in their guidelines.

You can make tons of healthier choices while at Disney, absolutely, but you wont actually be doing the whole30 if you deviate... even 1 time... the Whole30 doesn't work like that. The Whole30 REQUIRES 100% control over your food.
 
Ok, I appreciate the clarification from folks about what the Whole30 entails. So, I modify my suggestion to:

Eat as healthy as you can while at Disney and then start Whole30 once at home.

I guess I was reacting to posts that seem to indicate that it wasn't even worth trying to eat well at Disney.
 
As someone who has to eat a severely sodium-restricted diet for health reasons that I can never take a break from, I say just enjoy yourself on vacation.

Come home and start the Whole30 then. I wish I had that option to put my diet on pause!

I get that. I've read a lot about Whole30. I understand that it's an all or nothing proposition. My point to the OP was that if she tries to follow the principles at WDW, she will undoubtedly be making healthier food choices than if she didn't try. If that is her goal, she will be doing well. She can go all out on the program and follow it exactly when she gets home.

So Whole40 only if you can know every ingredient your are putting in your mouth - which is practically impossible at Disney.

Yes, I've done Whole30 before. I'm merely suggesting one can do Whole30 insofar as they are capable of knowing what they're eating (make ALL paleo choices as far as you know) and then add a true 30 days on the end of that. It has to be healthier than just waiting to try until after vacation.
 
I definitely agree that going healthier can never be a bad thing. I just don't think you can call it Whole30.

And I'm in total awe of people who undertake Whole30. That's dedication! I thought about doing Whole30 once, since I am somewhat close as I am already keto, but I'm afraid it'd require me to be more of a food nazi than I already am!
