Whole grain options

Hello All!

We will be making a trip in early December and I am looking for any restaurants in WDW that have 100% whole grain options...I much prefer whole grains in place of white bread, white pasta, white rice, etc and am hoping some of you will have some feedback on where I can find such items.

BTW, I also am semi-vegetarian (yes, I know is this a real classification of vegetarian...??). Anyway, I eat dairy, eggs, and fish (no poultry, meat, pork, etc)

Any feedback anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at some of the updated menus I noticed that WDW is offering more whole grains and healthier options as well as some vegetarian entrees just go to www.wdwig.com and under dining you can look at the menus for each restauranant and they will describe alot of the items on the menu..I saw alot of sandwhiches on whole grains..Also you can let your waiter know and they can specially prepare for any kind of need.

I am a full on veg and just got the book "Vegetarian Guide to WDW and Greater Orlando" by Shumaker. It has a lot of good ideas for those looking for healthier options, vegetarian or not.

I know that at the MK at the Pinocchio Haus (spelling?) they had a panini with a multi-grain bread. It was pretty good. You could have it without any meat. Captain Cook's at the Poly had decent bran muffins. Other than that, I can't recall any other types of grains. Kona at the Poly had a nice noodle dish (not buckwheat, though) with lots of veggies, with chicken and/or shrimp.

The new Hollywood & Vine character lunch will have whole grain pastas.
