I could be wrong but I think those who come back for the wild card round are from the final 32. They're people who aren't chosen from the original groups of 8 by the fan voting.

That's what I thought also.

I think last year at least one was brought back from Hollywood,but not from the 32. I thought Scooter Girl had a really good voice.

They can pick the wild card from anywhere. They don't have to be from the final 32. I can't remember who exactly, but I know there were a couple last year who did not make the cut to 32 who were invited back for the wildcard round.

I bet they bring back Scooter Girl.

We really hope they bring back Scooter Girl - my DH was so upset that she was cut! She reminds us of our very unique 5 yoDD - hopefully we'll see her again!

Another vote for Scooter Girl. Simon commented on her image at the first audition then she changed her image and they still booted her off.
