Who Will Bush Nominate Now?

With all the Libby talk going on, this subject went to the wayside. I'm wondering how George is going to handle this. Will he go with someone from the center (good for the country) or go with someone from the right (good for his party). As some have pointed out, he is the leader of his party and should do anything in his power to help them, but he might also be disgusted with them for shooting down Ms. Miers. He might say "you would have had a good deal with Harriet and you didn't trust me, so I'm going to nominate someone who will breeze through". On the other hand, he might be threatened with all that's going on and run back to his core support. What do y'all think?

Our news station said John Cornyn was a possibility...I sure hope not, when he was Attorney General, our AG's office did (and still does) suck - no matter what party you belong to...
