where would the best place be to watch the firework celebration?

I am planning to leave MK about an hour before the fireworks, and take the boat over to the Polynesian and watch them from the beach. Apparently, they also have fireworks that go off around the lagoon as well. Seems to be a good way to beat the huge crowd at MK.

Others have been saying that unless you are staying at the Poly, you won't have access to the beach. They are checking for resort ID's.

I will be at Epcot the 4th.

I was just reading in my Woman's Day magazine the top ten places to watch fourth of July fireworks - Pleasure Island was listed as going to have a fireworks display at Midnight Wednesday (actually Thursday 12:01) to start off the fourth in style! I hope that this is true. We are flying in at 10:00 pm on Wednesday - of course we will have to drive like nuts to get into the resort (BCV) and situated and zip over to downtown Disney by midnight! Oh the fun of it all! I cannot wait! I have never been to Disney in the summer time!

We're going to be at the CR on the 4th. I plan on watching the MK fireworks from our tower room lani (on MK side I hope), or from the observation deck. Either place should be great!
