If we sail in those few weeks left in December, which ship do you think will sail first? (you may pick two)

I choose the Dream as they are short. I selected Wonder because of the talks they had at the Galveston Port.

Dream first, specifically 4 night on 12/14 or 3 night on 12/18. The first bookable is the Fantasy on 12/12 but I do not see that happening because of the itinerary ports and the length of cruise.

I voted Magic and Wonder. I think they will start with the smaller ships, because I think their cost of operating those two ships is lower, so if something gets off track, they will have cut their losses.

Whichever ship has the most verandas will prolly be first. All the talk and the Euro guidelines say quarantine rooms gotta be veranda. So if anybody knows which ship has the most veranda rooms, that would be a good bet.

https://dclnews.com/fact-sheets/2012/12/04/disney-fantasy-stateroom-fact-sheet/Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy:
staterooms w/verandah: 2+19+20+361+499 = 901
"Eighty-eight percent of the 1,250 staterooms on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream are outside rooms, and of those, 90 percent have a private verandah"
(+ some of the 25 staterooms configured for guests with disabilities... so something just over 901)

Disney Wonder: Staterooms 875

Therefore Disney Dream & Fantasy each have more Verandah staterooms than the Wonder has total staterooms.

Great poll, thanks @Snowwhyt
Thank you for saying something. I’m finding it depressing to struggle for sailing conversation. I’ve been holding onto this idea for 2 weeks. Still too early, but chattering will really pop here in 2 weeks. At least if I have conversations it feels like it’s insight. Even if my nearest sail date is going to have to be a lift and shift if it sails.

We all think the Dream looks like first out. I think the Texas port will be second port. Maybe I should start a port poll some time soon.

There is not going to be a single DCL sailing this year.
It takes 3 months to fully re-staff and re-train CM's and get them ready for the new guidelines.
We are in October.
And there is no indication at all that there is/has been an *official* call-up.
Best case scenario now is January... If no call ups this month, then February, and so on.

I chose the Wonder because she is on the Eastern seaboard just waiting to do something. Then the Dream for it's short haul trips.

I picked Dream and Magic. I actually think the bigger ships will go first, since they should be more profitable, but I need the Magic up and running so that my 1/9/21 trip can go 😇

I picked dream and fantasy because they can hold more people, so even if run half full, they might be still quite profitable.

I picked the Wonder, mostly because I'm currently booked on their first cruise, and the Dream, because she does the short cruises.

My family and I are on the same 1/9 Magic Cruise, and while i am hopeful it will be one of the first to go, i wont be surprised if it doesn't. We are PIF so if it does get scrapped, id like to see when other cruises will be announced and try to rebook one of those.
