Who wears lime green?

I bought a lime green shirt for our trip (despite the fact that I hate lime green ) and nobody said a word to me about it.

Also, I asked a few different people wearing lime green if they were from the disboards and they all looked at me like I was from another planet, so I quit making a fool out of myself and asking people!

What have your experiences been with the wearing o' the green?

I didnt wear green but i saw some people that were i was afraid to ask b/c I thought they would look at me like i was werid. So i think we should do something else. Like a tag or something so u will know for sure

Does anyone know why Lime Green is the color of choice? I do have a lime green chip and dale shirt that I use to wear but to tell you the truth it was before I knew about it being the Dis color. So maybe that's why all those people were looking at me funny???????

I ordered the lime green DIS Tshirt, and when it came, I saw that I ordered it a little too big- so I will be wearing it at the pool and TL as a swim cover-up. I may even order another (in the correct size this time ) to wear in the parks.

I also picked up a bunch of the Disney paint samples in lime green from Home Depot- I am going to laminate them and use them as tags on our luggage and on our Disney backpack.

I'll be on the lookout for any other DISers- see y'all the first week of October!

On my last trip I saw someone with a Dis pin (or shirt, I forget, now) (hi TLinden )

I ordered a gray Disboard shirt and pin for my upcoming trip in August 22-26.

I bought some lime green crocs...they are soooo bright! I also got a very cute lime green polo style shirt at the Disney store with Tinkerbelle on it. I'm going to try to get some paint chips for the backpack. Someone had a good idea... to laminate the chips and put it on the end of a lanyard that you are wearing for pins. Lime geen and pink are popular so I'm sure I won't be stopping people in lime green.

I wore the hip pack form the DIS shop for all 10 days we were in the park June 5- June 15. No one said a word and I didn't see anyone that was wearing lime green!!

I bought some of the lime green pins that say DIS and pinned them on my jacket and stroller. I guess no one noticed or was too nervous to approach me. I ended up giving dome of the DIS pins away to people I thought who would be interested including a server from 50's Prime Time. Wonder if any of them ended up on the DIS? They all seemed interested.

Maybe the DIS shop should offer big green, antena things to wear on our heads!!!

LOL that's exactly why I never ask.

I have come very close on several occasions, but never have. If I saw a whole family in it I might - but lime green is (oddly enough) a rather popular color in general it seems.

I actually did see a man and woman both in disboard shirts, but they were walking fairly quickly and looked like they were on a mission, so I didn't try to stop them to say anything.

I didn't see one lime green Mickey head, though.

Lime Green is such a popular color for clothing right now that I wouldn't ask anyone unless they had a lime green DIS shirt on. I am decorating my paint chip from home depot (It will have DIS among other things on it) so I am hoping there wont be any question that I am from the DIS.

I hope I see some people. There are quite a few at POP the week I am so I am crossing my fingers!

I have Lime Green tag on my backpack and a DIS Lime Green key chain on my fannypack.

I also put Lime Green ribbons on my stroller and also on my suitcases!

I once saw a guy in the RnR line with something Lime Green on his fannypack but I was too afraid to ask.

I usually have my Dis fanny pack (hubby thinks it is just tooo dorky) or I put a lime green ribbon on myself. I have met a few disers by spotting their green ribbons!!

I wear lime green occasionally. I've never been asked. On the other hand, whenever I see someone in lime green, I ask. DH and DS(11) pretend they don't know me. They are so embarrassed by my asking. I have asked people each time we're at WDW, and I have not found anyone from the DIS. Once I saw 3 people with DIS t-shirts. We were getting our pics taken, so I didn't say anthing. They were gone by the time we were done with the pics.

I have only met a few DISers in the past year... but I keep looking!!! I will be wearing my DIS shop lime green (and purple) t-shirt at least once on this trip!!! I hope someone stops to say hello!!!
