Who Watches Smallville???

I missed Smallville last week and I'm watching the beginning of today's show and Clark's dad is in the hospital. Apparently he had a heart attack and Clark is blaming himself. What happened? What did I miss???

I don't know why Clark would be blaming himself. I don't remember anything that terrible happening last week between Clark and his dad.

Maybe he's blaming himself because he wasn't helping out on the farm as much as he used to.

The show ended with Clarks Dad laying by the saw in the barn, clutching his chest . Clark finds him and the show ends, so no explaination really.

Before Clark left with the red ring on his finger, his dad went to the dr. and was told he had the heart of a 20 yr old. They seem to indicate that Jonathon's trip to the caves, where he "downloaded" the information from Krypton, (when he went to Metropolis to bring bad Clark home) caused the damage to his heart. Clark is blaming himself because IF he didn't put that ring on, his dad wouldn't of needed help to save him.

Yup!

It's because of the "deal" he made with Clark's biological father to get him to come home. So now Clark's biological father is collecting on Jonathan's deal with him.

Oh no! I always wondered why he didn't go all comatose like that one guy did last season after he put the disk into that thing...but I guess instead of affecting his brain it affected his heart. How sad.

I was also wondering if anyone else has heard this rumor. I heard that Chloe's cousin was going to come into the show eventually and that her cousin is actually going to be Louise Lane.

I know last week when Chole wrote an article and went to the editor to have it published, she told her to use her cousin "Loius Lane" as her alias. She said her cousin had no inspirations to be a journalist.
