who ate at the Blue Bayou this past Saturday (10/11) at around 11:30. In a group with grey shirts I think. My mom saw the LGMH's, but I was in the bathroom with mine. Who was it?

I also thought I saw a LGMH on Autopia on Friday in the morning. Not sure about it though.

It wasn't SherryE. She had 8pm reservations.

It wasn't us - we don't eat there - but we were in the park Saurday after 4pm and Sunday after 2:30pm and had our LGMHs on our stroller.

Lucky you - I never see LGMHs. I did meet a DIS lurker while talking to a couple outside Baby Care though! She made a comment about something on the boards and I asked her if she did DIS!

We were all there last weekend!

I heard a Disboard member talking about the boards in The Riverbelle Terrace around 10:30am to 11:00am on Tuesday 10/7/08. I made eye contact with you, young man, but I didn't say hello. Who were you?! =)

I saw a young guy who only looked like he was 16 and I didn't want to go up to him and look like a total psycho with his mother standing next to him ! I'm 23 for crying out loud

I have learned in the last two days on here that several of us DIS-ers have had less than stellar experiences at BB in the last couple of weeks. Were you 100% satisfied? I know I won't be going back there unless someone treats me! it is not worth it unless I am sitting right by the water, and we were not! Also, we didn't care for the hotess up at the front.

Awww, you wouldn't have looked like a total psycho (she's a DIS member too). Oh well. No, I didn't go yesterday. The whole weekend in general was packed.

It was preetty good. To start off with, we checked in at 11:15 because our reservation was at 11:50. It was packed because they were just getting ready to open up and people were hovering in the lobby. I went up to the hostess and she told me that my reservation was for the 13th . I was like..."uhhh we're only here through the 12th and I said I wanted a table for 13 on the 11th." She said that she would talk to her manager and they figured it all out. The part that wasn't so great was the fact that they sat us close to the kitchen. I had the Mahi Mahi, which was delicious, but the spinach that came with it was sour even though it said a light lemon vinegarette.

Everyone else loved their food though. I especially LOOOOOOVE the wedge salad and gumbo soup. MMMM so good. Other than all the drama, it was good. I usually really like BB, so maybe it was just because it was SOOO busy this past weekend.

It was was super busy when we were there too, and if that is the same hostess at the front, she wasn't very good and she didn't really listen to what the guests were telling her, even if it was beneficial information. I would eat there again if someone treated me and/or if we didn't have to wait in the crowded room for SO long, and especially if we got a waterside table. Otherwise, it is a very pretty restaurant, but not my cup of tea! They need to take REAL reservations there - not Priority Seating. At least with reservations, people would have tables reserved for them and there wouldn't be so many people packed into the waiting area (the parlor) like sardines because BB would not be overbooked like it is! The PS method is just no good!

Lime Green Mickey Head - you get them at Home Depot or if you go down a few threads, you can see that someone posted a picture file you can print out and make your own. Search the DL forum for LGMH and you can see photos of how some folks turn them into Keychains and stuff.
