Who wants to join the NO PIN CLUB ?

I have been waiting patiently and I'm not giving up on a discount for October My daughter has gotten a pin but only for 10% and a card in the mail thanking her for ordering the free maps with a code for a discount but the code was not for October. I think it was the one they have for the general public right now for end of summer.
Anyway I feel left out because I havent gotten anything. I thought I was special too I ordered maps and the DVD. I'm hoping discounts will come out the closer we get to October, but I know last year a few weeks did not have discounts.

Did you save some resorts to your profile and do the same for your daughter? How about making one of those online movies which will serve to highlight your interests during your stay? Did you order DVD's and maps in both your name as well as your daughter's? There's still hope! October is pretty far away.

I have actually received 4 pins as of today the past 6 months.

However, all were 10% but one which was 30% off room only.

We are currently booked for FD in Sept and with any hotel that we wanted or even the same hotel we are at, it was still signigicantly cheaper to stick with FD.

Hopefully you get something, but always shoot for nothing. That way you already know an absolute overhead cost that is your limit, then when something does happen, you can cpend it else where. WE saved almost 1100 dollars doing the FD!

I'm hoping for the same. We shaved $500 off the rack rate with 30% off, but FD would save us another $600!!!!!!!!

In all our WDW trips I have been the planner & taken care of bookings for everyone on the trip. I have never received a pin code in my name. I have received plenty of code's via email & snail mail for others that were included in the booking. I grew weary of contacting Disney about fixing their data problem to no avail. I continually receive offers for people that have gone once or twice with me but do not live with me. Including offers for my deceased father of 4 years now. My guess is once you book a certain number of times in your name Disney knows you will continue to go, discount or not. In all my trips I have been able to snap up an open to the public discount so I am happy with that.

Yes I did order the DVD,made custom maps, saved vacation quotes in both mine and my daughters name. They have already arrived. I have not made the online movie though. I even made dining reservations online, I dont know if that makes any difference or not. I did the dining reservation about 3 weeks after the other stuff.

That is what I believe is that since the reservation have been in our names several times they dont bother with us because they know we will come back I will be checking for a public discount, that is what I have used for most my stays except maybe one.

I am in the same club. We went for the first time in March and I got a PIN which saved me about $30 on the trip lol. We booked in January to go in March so I missed FD and other discounts that had expired when we booked. Now I am booked for December and holding out hope for either FD or a % discount regardless if it goes in the form of a PIN or public offering. Similar to others they probably know at this point that I am going to keep coming no matter what. Oh well -- at least I have some folks to commiserate with!

The pins I did get will not work for a Oct. trip!

I am hoping for something to save a few $$$. I have saved and ordered but no luck for Oct. We are going on a cruise for 3 nights so I booked a date for that. Now I am trying to tie a land stay into that. The cruise price changes so I am kind of locked into that choice now. Lets hope for something soon!!!!

I have been visiting Disney since '93 and have never gotten a code.... I guess they know I'm a "regular " and will go with/without a code.

I keep checking my email and regular mail every day. I know some discounts will come for October sooner or later I just hope they include my dates
