Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

It's all over some other WDW enthusiast forums. For some reason, the link to the one in particular I'm speaking of isn't allowed here. Trust me, it's coming, and millionaire is going.

But, isn't it only Jim Hill crowing that it'll be where Millionaire is? I mean, all the other speculation has it placed elsewhere.. And we're believing Jim Hill why?

From what I'm reading, the replacement will be complete by 2008.

I heard the closing of WWTBM many times. I have never been to that attraction before but I know plenty of people who enjoy it and they always tell me its packed, so I cant understand why they would shut it down

How sad to hear that Millionaire is closing. It is something that our entire family does together. It has had anywhere from a three quarter full studio to full studio when we have gone, and we are there at least once a month. I think the best moves they made with it were getting rid of the Regis pre-show and adding the cruise as a prize. It does get frustrating when only one person gets into the hotseat...and they don't even get through the first five questions. But if Kevin or Jim are hosting, it is such a fun show!

I hope it is only speculation!

What I had heard from a reliable source, was that Indy's days were numbered since the auto stunt show was up and running.
They also said that the Toy Story ride would go into the Indiana Jones space.
I don't see them ditching WWTBAM.

Agreed...people are just speculating that this Midway Mania thing is going where Millionaire is now. This new ride has been said to be replacing Millionaire on one site, near Al's Toy Barn on another, and replacing Indy on another. Millionaire is staying put as of right now, so those that enjoy it need not panic. I can't stand when people pass off rumors as facts.

FWIW, Millionaire is pretty much the only reason I go to MGM. The day Millionaire closes is the day I stop going to MGM, unfortunately! ToT and RnR are cool and everything, but it just won't be the same!
