Who Wants/needs Turn Down Service?

You have to request turndown service even at the WDW deluxe resorts unless you stay concierge level.

GF has turn down service for all, it does not have to be requested.

I like the service and after an evening out look forward to a comfy welcoming bed with a chocolate and card with quote for a restful sleep

I love turndown too if we're out. It is so cozy and peaceful to return.

If we're in the room, I sometimes let them do it and sometimes decline. The mousekeepers do a much better job of preparing the daybed than I can somehow!

Years ago, all rooms at the Polynesian and I'm sure the CR too automatically had turndown.
