Who Turned on the Heat?! Our sweaty 2 weeks in May! Final Thoughts.

HOLY COW! I was WAY behind! I haven't finished catching up yet, but I had to post. The reaction pics to the opening ceremony are great! I have in mind a similar pic when we get there in a few weeks. (IF they girls react that is!) The dark ride reactions give me hope. I'm not sure if our youngest will be able to handle Snow White, HM, or Pirates, but at least I know it's not impossible. I guess we'll have to just wait and see. I'll finish catching up later. Gotta run do some dad stuff now.

Adios!

All caught up! I have to go out and finish my gardening but wanted to respond.. Love the updates!! Turtle Talk was pretty cute- you will have to try it next time around. We took the same pics of T-Rex - lol!
Myles wants to do the build a dino next time. He ended up getting Figment that day and we told him one animal a day!!

Just got back, catching up. I love the opening ceremony pics-sooo cute. What a great memory.

I think these were the worst photopass pictures of the trip

Those early morning pix in front of the globe are always tough because the sun is right in your eyes!! :sunny:

Things seem to have really changed at Epcot since your last visit!

You women look like you're having fun on Test Track, but the men look so serious!! :rotfl:

I hope your daughters have the same reaction. I kind of wished I had it on video too! I wonder if Madeline will continue to be ok with all of the dark rides or if she'll suddenly develop a fear. Last night she was telling Eric she was scared of Oscar the Grouch in her room. She must have been half dreaming cause there is no Oscar in her room.

Build a dino was fun. I kind of wished Madeline would have wanted Figment. I loved him when I was a kid! I'm not sure we're going to Epcot next time we're there but if we are we'll see turtle talk. :)

Welcome home. I hope you were able to have a little fun in all that rain!

Yeah Eric always looks serious on rides. I'm surprised my dad wasn't sleeping

I just hate how I look in that photo pass picture.

The left side of Epcot (TT, MS, Ellen's and the DVC kiosk) are all the same- well I think they added the chicken side of MS since we were there last, but the right side is a lot different.

I love the pics of Madeline seeing Mickey for the first time! So cute!!! Looks like you had a wonderful trip, besides M being a little sick. Can't wait to hear all the details of your October trip!!

I went left when I should have gone right and we had to walk all the way to McDonalds. On the way over we noticed that miss M had a MAJOR and I mean MAJOR blow out. It was down to her shoes. :scared1::scared1: Thank GOD she was wearing crocs! We made it to the bathroom and I threw the small changing pad on the flip down table. Thank goodness my mom was there because it was definitely a 2 women (or 4 man) job! I'm sure people were majorly grossed out. The table was right in front of one of the sinks so everyone could see the horrific mess. I ran out of wipes and handi wipes and then mom had to get some napkins from McD's. She still wasn't cleaned up all the way but we did the best would could. Luckily I had thrown her dress from the day before into the diaper bag so she had something to wear.

Oh I've so been there! Luckily I've had someone around when it's happen too but it's never at home where it's easier to clean up! :rotfl2: BTW Madeline is adorable! :goodvibes

Great pics! T-Rex looks awesome!

Great update! :goodvibes

Fantastic pictures too! :thumbsup2 Great shots on TT and Madeline looks so adorable hangin' out in the car princess: The Nemo ride is cute - both boys kept barking out "hey, there's Nemo" every time they caught a glimpse of him :lmao::sad2:

Wow...looking at all your photos makes me realize how much we missed at Downtown Disney. We did Poohs Corner and had some dinner at Earls & Goofys Candy, plus Jenny rode the carousel. But that is it...and there is such much more to do there. We need another trip! :rotfl2:

Thanks! I'll put our October trip details at the end of this trip report! When are you going to start your PTR?

THanks. The funny thing is I realized later that I had one of those disposable washcloth things in the bag that I could have used. I think my mom had to run out and get napkins from McD's at least twice.

Madeline enjoyed looking for Nemo too.

yep definitely need another trip! You should stay at the beach club next time. :)

isn't funny that they have all the rides they could ever want in the parks but all they want is to ride the carousel at DTD?

After our bellies were full we headed to Imagination.

After the ride we went into Image Works. What a disappointment! The old play area was a million times better. :(

The plan was to go ride Spaceship Earth and then head out for a nap. Spaceship earth was a now a walk on. About 2 minutes into the ride Madeline was asleep. Now, do we stay or do we go?

To be Continued (mostly because I need to upload more photo's)

I am glad you got your money back. I have been enjoying your Epcot adventures, can't wait to hear more.
