Who to use for grocery delivery?

We want to order groceries for our room, and I'm torn on who to use: Amazon Prime Now, Walmart, Garden Grocers, or Instacart (using Publix). We used GG last time and had great luck, but they are by far the most expensive. Also, their selection for sunscreen is extremely limited - I was really hoping to get everything at one place, but I've heard mixed reviews about some of these.

So.... input?

I am an independent contractor for both Walmart grocery delivery as well Shipt. I didn't see you mention Shipt, but when I am at Disney that is who I order my groceries from. The shopper will communicate with you if he/she needs to substitute an item etc.

We've used Instacart/Publix and had a great experience. Just as PP mentioned, the driver is in communication with you in case he/she needs to substitute an item. Our driver also texted when he was leaving the store and when he arrived at the resort. Very easy and or order was accurate.

I usually stick with Prime Now, as I know their quality, can order from Whole Foods which is now a whole lot cheaper. I also know what time everything is supposed to arrive and know when it gets to bell services.

Do you have to meet the shopper? I prefer to have it left at bellhop and/or delivered to my room. I hope to have it there by the time we arrive.

Only if you order alcohol or want to avoid the $6 per package/bag delivery fee that Disney is charging if it goes through bell services.

I thought the $6 was per delivery- not per package?

There are very mixed reports, but what I have been told so far is it is supposed to be per package, not per delivery. I am still seeking further clarification from Disney directly on that.

We chose to meet the shopper so we could get the food and put it away. You can choose a delivery window, so it was easy for us to make sure we were there.

Yikes - if it’s $6 per package - that’s really pricy

I haven't read that anywhere, in relation to grocery delivery. Everything I have read says it's $6 per grocery delivery. The per package price is if you have something shipped to the resort. Like a regular Amazon order or if you mail a package ahead of time.

Dizzy Dolphin! Check out their facebook page. I have used them for the last 5 trips everything is bagged and stored perfectly!
They are the best!!!!

That’s what I hope as well - if not - I’ll be doing my own grocery shopping!

Do we meet Shipt shoppers in the lobby, or do they come to our room? Had no idea Shipt was an option in Disney, so great since we already have the subscription!!

Same here. It would be cheaper to rent a car and go to the supermarket.

And what would constitute a package? A lot of the things I order don't get put into bags.
