Who to complain to about gift card?

I'm not sure disneystore is who you should be contacting about this.

There's a phone number on disneygiftcard.com...is it a different number than you're calling?

If you're not at WDW or DLR, you can't use the card. If you're trying to use it on disneystore, that's not where it's supposed to be valid. World of Disney at the resorts, and disney owned stores inside the resorts are where you can use it. So that might be the whole problem, that it's just flat out not valid where you're trying to use it.

My giftcard does not have a securtiy PIN, so I can't enter it on that site.
I was at a Disney store in WDW when I tried to use it for the second time, and was told there were no more funds in it.

Which store was it? Some are not Disney owned, for example some at Downtown Disney, some at Epcot, etc.

It's amazing to me how people discount their time when it comes to GP sometimes. :rotfl:

3-4 phone calls? What was the card worth to begin with? $25? $50? I think I remember you've already used $20 on the card.

Really? :confused3

Ya'll tickle me.

They started at $75. Even if $20 had been used, $55 is worth a few phone calls to me.

The value of the Birthday Fun Card was equal to a 1 day park ticket. At that time it was $79 dollars.

Ben Franklin said, "A penny saved is a penny earned." And I'm sure Warren Buffett would say he didn't get rich by throwing out money. And I say, I don't like getting ripped off.

And really, what there something else you could do with the time spent on the phone that would earn $55? Wait, that sounds bad somehow...

But the point is, if you have the time, sure it's worth the money!

...And the moral of this story is...."Don't look a gift card in the mouth"!:lmao:

Funny, I worked for Warren for many years and he used to say "Time is money".... :)

Oh I wasn't pointing to checking it on the site, but to calling the number on that site, if it was different than the number you were calling.

And I was going by your ticker that says you'll be there in 4 weeks; therefore I assumed this was all happening NOW, which would make it unlikely (to my across-the-country self) that you were using it at WDW now.

If you got one of the early ones, I remember that those actually did expire (before they changed it), and people had to go somewhere on property...maybe Guest Relations?...to get it worked out.
