I have used Dreams Unlimited for Disney World vacations in the past and have been very happy with service, they have always been on top of getting me discounts even before I ask for them.
Since they sponsor this board, I also chose them for my 2005 cruise. My questions always answered in 24 hours or less and I like their customer service.
Then I decided to book an October 2006 cruise and "just for fun" decided to request a quote from agencies that I often see on these boards.
So from Dreams Unlimited, Mouse Ear Vacations, local AAA office, Platinum Travel, and All Seas have all given me quotes within $5 of each other!
So I'm not sure if it's time of year, or how far out I'm booking or what but I was really surprised that they were so close.
I did leave a message for Dana about 15 hours ago, haven't heard from her yet but I'll let you know if she is able to beat what everyone else is offering.

Maybe the words "just for fun" weren't appropriate? I am always looking for the best deal. I have not yet booked a 2006 cruise. So for price comparisons I checked with all of the agencies noted on these boards because I wanted to know for myself if there was a huge difference in price (customer service & perks/gifts not withstanding).
I was very surprised that all of them offered me quotes so close to each other as I would have expected more "variety" if you will. So all things being equal, I would probably book with Dreams Unlimited again because they have provided me with great service in the past.
But now throw in to the mix that the reason I didn't get an "immediate" response from Dana is because she is away at a conference but her office beeped her and she took the time to talk to me from there. End result, she could save me $250 off the quote of what everyone else offered (and she's very, very nice).
Is it not appropriate to ask for quotes from multiple agents?
