Who should I use to book a room at The Floridian?

We have never stayed on property before but for our wedding in November we plan to stay for two nights at The Floridian, probably in a Lagoon view room. Can anyone recommend who we should book this through? Have looked at both the UK and USA Disney site and the USA price is very slightly less but wondered if any other companies are able to better this price?

Thank you!

I would wait for further Disney USA discounts later in the year, keep checking lastminute.com as well they have really good offers for September - the Grand Floridian garden view £206 a night:thumbsup2

Expedia UK/USA also have good discounts every so often - especially with 10% Expedia cashback

Hope this helps! We waited until the annual pass discounts were released about 3 months before the wedding and got 45% of a 1 bedroom at the Boardwalk on disney usa :)

For tickets to the parks the Disney uk site is better, they have a better selection of tickets.... 14 and 21 day passes. These are not available on the US Website.

Generally found US website better for booking the hotel.

You get a massive discount if you make the GF one of your wedding block hotels. :) (we're saving over $1600 on our 3 night stay)

So we booked our GF stay through our hotel coordinator.

You pay a one night deposit then the rest on check in, although I paid our balance last week as the rate was so good. :)

We are having an Escape wedding and our guests are staying off site so no room block for us-that would have been excellent though!!

Any other ideas on where to book a Disney hotel? I can't even find any of the hotels on Lastminute and on Expedia, none of the dates I put in bring up a price-am I doing something wrong?!

You might be a little early for expedia and last minutre - just keep checking!

We're waiting for hopefully some sort of a discount and will be booking with the US site, discounts at the moment are only until the 1st October so hopefully something will be out soon, I'm hoping for an AP rate which for the end of the year which usually come out in August.

I've just read on the resort forum that bounce back offers are out again, so we plan on booking this on our May trip and if the AP rate is better switching to this.

Have you considered using this forums own TA, Dreams?

They automatically check for discounts and apply them when Disney releases codes plus will book all your adr's and can make itineraries for you (if you want, if you enjoy that sort of thing you can still do it all yourself).
