O.K. I'm new to cruising and was wondering if i should book through disney or another agent? Help Please!!!

I have booked directly thru DCL all three times and have had no problems.......Well other than that cancellation thing last November. But, I was better off DCL contacted me directly; friends of ours used a TA and had to notify the TA first.....oh ya that was Thanksgiving eve.

Try contacting a few different providers and get competing quotes for same dates/stateroom categories. Some to consider include DCL, Dreams Unlimited (the sponsor of these boards), All Seas, All Seasons, Vacations to Go, AAA, Costco, Icruise and others(Travelocity, Expedia).

Many who post here will testify their experiences, but you will hear more positives than negatives about any particular provider. The bottom line is you should look/compare for yourself.

Happy hunting!

cruise.com Dreams Unlimited was a very close second. I looked them up on computer initially but did all our business/bookings over the phone, not online, and through one specific TA.

We leave in under 3 weeks so cannot say yet how well they did, but so far everything has been alright and they were the best price for our family of 5 (booked 8 months in advance). Best answer is shop around and book early.

I booked the 12/18/04 thru Costco Travel and saved $500.00 over the DCL price for the same stateroom.
