Who sends confirmation package?

We booked through Small World Vacations and we are three weeks away from our trip and still no package. I keep hearing about people who are 5,6 or even more weeks out and they have recieved theirs. Does my TA or Disney send this out? I am getting a little nervous. I haven't contacted my TA yet, I thought I would ask you guys first and wait a little longer to ask her. Should I be nervous or is this normal? Thank you for any advice.

Disney sends them to your TA at 45 days. If you haven't gotten yours yet, you need to call your TA.

TA sends them. It also depends on your TA. Ours has been on vacation, although answering emails. As a result, it was sent on monday and we leave in seven days. No biggie though.

For a package - since that is all I ever booked - you get your reservation confirmation, luggage tags, and the little pouch it comes in. There may be other things, but it has been a year since I recieved one! And, my memory isn't that good.

They aren't sent out at 45 days that is when the final payment is due, Disney then sends them out a couple of weeks after that

I am leaving on the 23rd and have not received mine either. I am not real happy with the TA we are using. They don't seem to be very good in the communications department.

In the past we have used Dreams Unlimited and they were very good. This trip I saw an ad for the Free Dining and fired off an e-mail for a quote and the next thing I know I'm booking a trip. They were very chatty and informative until they got my deposit and since then trying to get information out of them has been like pulling teeth. NOT AT ALL like Dreams Unlimited. Needless to say, from here on out DU will get ALL of my business.

The TA we are using for this trip is Your Magical Journeys. I do NOT recommend them!

So, all that being said, what are your recommendations for how to handle the fact that we have no confirmation, no ME tags, no NOTHING!

I did hear from my TA yesterday and she said my final package got "held up" and was on its way. It arrived today!! That was a great surprise. I was expecting to have to wait a few days at least, so was not even looking for it when I got to the mailbox and there it was. She mailed it priority mail. I have been pleased with our service from Small World Vacations (my TA is Nikki). She even e-mailed me when she was on her own vacation in WDW. And she got me an ADR at Chef Mickeys at way past the 90 day mark.

We are leaving Sept 18th and I have had my package for 3 weeks already!

When you book thru a TA, the package is mailed to the TA's office. It is sent USPS so it is in with all the other mail. The manager usually opens the mail (looking for checks) then distributes it to the TA's. It then sits on his or her desk until it is opened and checked for errors. It is then mailed out to you USPS.

If you book directly thru WDTC it gets mailed directly to you.
