904 people preregistered for the pin event! And again Disney laughs all the way to the bank with $90,400 of our money.

I'm not one of them...I used to be a big Pin Trader/Collector. No more too expensive!

I was thinking... $90,400 is not that much to cover the costs that must be associated with putting this on. Think of the cost per worker and the cost of the space (i know they own it but they still have to pay to use it). All the costs for setting up and down.

I would like to see the after event slaes and add in the other cost to the folks going like Rooms, Tickets, Meals and Snacks. It will be interesting to see how the economy changes those numbers and if Disney does this again....

Wish I was going... But I have to work!

Wish I was going too, but the timing is really bad for us this year. I never figured Disney would move the Epcot event to the end of June so I have a Cruise to Alaska trip that I leave for on July 1st. Never missed an Epcot event before, but can't see any way around missing this one.

I feel your pain Vince.....I was in the same boat, er ship, last year. The Alaskan cruise we were on ended just before the pin event and I couldn't figure out a way to do both!
