Who received their Chadwick's orders?

My order arrived today. All I ordered was a pair of earrings that cost $1.88 with the 30% discount...of course the S&H drove the price up, but hey, I got the free three peices and the grill (which I will likely never use....LOL) But free is free, even if I sell it at a garage sale for $3!

my3kids--Yes, they cancelled one of my orders and gave a number for me to call with questions. I called and the person said that the order had been cancelled because of all the free stuff. I questioned whether or not they would be sending the shoes that I ordered and she said the entire order had been cancelled. I'm going to be sure to check my credit card to make sure that I wasn't charged for them. Luckily, I did get shipment notification for the other 2 orders that I placed and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Today I placed another order for the shoes and got 1 FREE gift so hopefully that one wil go through.

I placed 2 orders both on the 27th. Both for earrings, 2 different pair $2.99 each. With shipping both orders total $7.98 each. One order I put in the code for the free wheeled luggage and the other for the 3 piece travel bags. Both orders show the free items coming up with a zero and the earrings at the regular price and they went through fine.

I rec'd email confirmation right afterward that they rec'd both orders and would send confirmation when they shipped, but as of today, one order (the one w/ the 3 pc travel bags, which was the 1st one I placed) says In Process and the other one says Held Order. I just don't think I am going to get either order at this point, but I will keep on checking.

My order and my moms order both arrived yesterday (ordered on Friday I think) but my dh dropped the iron on sunday, and the DIS boards mentioned the "new" free item was an iron, so I ordered again. That on was orderd 2/27 and is still "in process." I'm not holding my breath now, METHINKS CHADWICKS CAUGHT ON, lol.

So I have 2 free rolling suitcases (a bit small, but good for child luggage!), 2 travel bag sets (one moms, one mine), the grill (too small for our family of 6, plus we alreayd have a George Forman so gave it to mom)...


Now if only the third order would ship!! My stepmom was going to use the travel bag set (so I ordered another, lol) and we now NEED the iron, lol.

I got the 3 pc travel bag set today with the longsleeved tee I ordered. The travel bag set is actually fairly nice and better quality than I was expecting.

Unfortunately, the shirt I bought, which was "berry" and looked to be a dark pink on the screen, is actually hot pink, so there's no way in heck I'm going to wear it. So, my sister who loves hot pink also got a "free" gift. At that price it would have been a pain to return it and I didn't want to have to return the travel bag set if they didn't have something else I wanted.

My second order (rolling suitcase plus grill plus two longsleeved tees) is supposedly "in process".

My DH is probably going to kill me as he works for the company that puts these out and he already started in with the "why did you order that you should have just waited for my discount..yadda...". I figured it wasn't real smart since I doubt they would have let him do more than one of the freebies and then he would have had to lug all the junk home since they interoffice the employee orders. If he starts in on it again, I'm going to smile and say, fine, how much junk do you want to lug home for me, dear?

Two more of my orders came today. I ordered a sleeveless striped blouse and got the 3 pc set and the rolling suitcase.
I ordered another blouse that I ordered as a solid but they sent me another stripe, different color but nothing I would wear. I got the 3 pc set with this blouse. I didn't know about all the other stuff when I ordered this, I only knew about the one 3 pc set as the gift.
I always wear a size 14 and ordered size 14. Both the blouses are too small in the bust. Even with my surgery they don't fit. Oh well, not worth the $4.99 to ship back a blouse I paid $2.79 for so I will just put them aside and hopefully have a tag sale this summer and get at least my money back.
So now I have two rolling bags, 3 3-pc sets. My last order should come tomorrow, for the 3 pc set, the rolling bag and the grill.
Thanks to everyone who let us know about these "gifts", the suitcases are not the best but I am bringing my entire family to WDW in May to celebrate my finishing Chemo and radiation and the boys will each have a rolling bag and a large duffle for their carry ons. You can never have enough luggage. Peggie

I hadn't really thought about that......what if the items don't fit? Do we return all the freebies or can we keep the freebies if we have to return the clothes? I am sorry to hear the clothes fit a little small. I was debating betweeb ordering a size larger than the measurements indicated I needed. I went with the guideline, but now not sure they will fit.

and had the 3 bag set on it with the code.

Yeah, exclusively for me and about 70,000 others that read DIS. I just thought it was funny.

Am I the only one who things this is a bunch of junk (the freebee's)? I don't think it was worth the shipping. The shirt I ordered was made for a midget, and is very cheesy. The suitcase I would not dare check, because it's so cheaply made, it wouldn't make one trip. The tiny grill was the only half way decent item. I'll toss that in the RV and possibly use it there.

I was happy with the quality of the shirt I bought, if not the color. However, I didn't get anything fancy, just a longsleeved basic tee shirt.

I was pleased with the 3 PC tote set. I probably won't use the totebag but the small duffel and cosmetic kit are perfect for using for the gym or a short trip. The duffel is a nice size and I can definitely get a weekend's clothing in there. The tote folds up to a nice small size and will be fine to tuck in a suitcase to bring home souveniers or use as a larger purse for days we don't do the parks, and I like that it has a zip top for security.

The quality is certainly no worse than the overpriced totes we've ended up buying in Orlando and other places because we forgot to pack an extra bag for souveniers.

I haven't gotten the grill or the rolling case yet, but since I really wanted more of the long sleeved tee shirts anyway to wear for my Disney trip (I burn very easily and am allergic to sunblocks, so light cotton long sleeved tops are essential for me...). The case and the grill are probably going right to my sister, I don't need either since I have a full Samsonite set and a Krups indoor grill and a Foreman as well. I figured I might as well get the items since I was going to order anyway.

If you ordered things just for the freebies, I think you might not be thrilled, but as add ons to a regular order, it's a nice bonus.

Okay, I am now thinking nothing is going to fit that I ordered. It isn't a place I would have ordinarily shopped, but I figured how bad could a cotton sweater set be....now it sounds like pretty bad.

Know what I do with the suitcases? I got two of the rolling ones last year and I'm expecting one more tomorrow - I use them to pack away old clothes and stick under the bed or use in my son's closet for miscellaneous toys.

I ordered on the 27th too and it finally says processed and shipped this morning.The UPS tracker isn't working for me right now but I'll proabbly get it today or tomorrow. I can't wait!! I ordered the Terry cloth robe (2nd one with a freebie) and I'm in love!! Not sure who I'm giving the robe to but I have a lot of options for it. I can't wait!

I recieved my order yesterday, and was quite pleased with it. The sleeveless knit top is lovely, and the free 3 pc tote set will definitely come in handy during our upcoming travels.

My order went through in a very timely manner and without a hitch... but then I didn't try to get multiple free gifts and discounts with a single item order either.

As DMRick has said, I would not try to "check" the rolling suitcase.. However, if I can fit more in that than I can normally fit in my carry-on, I'll use it for that.. Otherwise, all 3 of them will be great for packing stuff to take up to the lake or if I ever go on a "road trip" somewhere..

3 pc. tote sets will come in handy too.. I'll give one to my sis in Florida; use one for the lake; and one for traveling..

Now the electric grills - that's a whole 'nother story.. LOL .. I really have NO use for them at all, but my DD said she would like one for their travel trailer, I guess I could take one up to the lake for rainy days, and the 3rd will go to my sister in Florida..

Now - the pants I bought were waaaaaaaaaay too long and waaaaaaaaay too big (and they're only a size 4!!) - the earrings were pretty ugly - but I love the hot pink shorts..

I think it was all worth what I paid and I'm pretty satisfied, I guess..
