Who really uses the kitchens at OKW?

Sorry to say that we really don't use the kitchen much. We do an easy breakfast--cereal, muffins, coffee etc. But we do have LOTS and LOTS of snacks!!!!!!!!!!! We are munchers and eat little things through out the day. So basically we do breakfast, have snacks and maybe a small lunch and go out for dinner. I do love the large refridgerator for our cold drinks. It actually even works out like this when we bring friends and family.:hyper:

Always simple breakfast, muffins, fruit, bagels, milk, coffeee etc. We have fixed spaghetti etc for our grandkids while the DD and DSIL went out to dinner. Also we have stopped at Publix and bought some of their prepared entrees. Baked a potato and ate in. But most of the time we go to CG, FF, Palio, Jiko and others.

Nick - I'm glad you like my burgers. Special recipe. ;)

Anyone wants to stop by March 3rd-11th we'll be making them again!

One thing I love to do when I'm on vacation is to cook- I love being in the kitchen with time to prepare a nice meal. Several times during this last trip, we enjoyed an early evening in with board games and a very nice dinner.

Now, I must say, the cookware is not the best for very involved cooking, and next big trip I'm planning on bringing a good skillet and sauce/soup pan (lol, yeah I'm a little weird I guess!;) )

We use the refrigerator for milk, juice, soft drinks and bottled water. We've also stored leftover pizza. Like many, we use the microwave for popcorn and I always make coffee. Usually we have something very quick (cereal, poptarts) for breakfast and eat the rest of our meals out.

On a few occasions we stopped and got sandwich fixings and ended up throwing out barely touched meat, cheese, bread, condiments.....There are too many wonderful food items and restaurants at WDW that we enjoy. Also, cleaning up the kitchen after a big meal is definitely not how I want to spend my vacation!

Unusual maybe, but not weird. :cool2:

A number of folx have posted in the past bringng their own cookware. Mainly the non-stick variety. We've done it in the past, and driving to the World helps.

I haven't quite gotten to the point I'd want to haul down the cast iron cookware. :p
