who read the book My Sister's Keeper?

I read it a few years ago. It was good, but quite sad. I don't know if I'll see the movie. I think it will make me cry!

I read it, loved it, and can't wait to see the movie!:cool1:

My friend told me that she read that the ending is different in the movie. That should be interesting. I am also curious to see if Cameron Diaz can portray all the complexity in the mom's character.

I just read the book about three weeks ago. I really enjoyed it...of course I was crying my eyes out.

Not sure if I will see the movie until it comes out on video.

It's a good book. I hope the movie won't differ too much. AZmermaid, i hope that your firned is worng about the ending being different.

I read the book several years ago - loved it but it is so so sad. I hope they follow the book. I can't wait to see the movie! I am up in the air about the movie though, I have my choice of Transformers with my family or going alone to see My Sisters Keeper. Not sure what I want to do. Very hard choice! Because it would be nice to watch Transformers on the big screen due to the type of movie. Loved the 1st one.

It's my favorite book by Jodi Picoult(I've read most of her books) and I still get emotional over it.

I did read that the ending was going to change which would completely ruin the whole story IMO. I do plan to go see it,but I am not expecting it to be anywhere as good as the book. I also hate the fact that Cameron Diaz is playing the Mom. Sorry, I just can't see her pulling this off at all.

Great book, but having 2 little girls, it really made me emotional. As much as I want to see the movie, not sure I want to sit and cry like that (and I know I will).

I completely agree with you about Cameron Diaz. I can't see her playing the mom at all.

I bawled through the entire book. I really want to go see the movie, but will have to go by myself. Oh well.

Cameron Diaz is not mother of teens material. Weird casting IMO. I also hope they don't change the ending.

I read the book several years ago but don't plan to see the movie right now. I will wait until it comes out on cable. I would rather sob at home!

I read the book when it first came out and have a friend who was living it almost firsthand when her 2nd daughter was diagnosed with leukemia @ 18 months old. The book really hit home for me.....

I think I have to wait for it to come out on DVD since I know I'll be a blubbering mess @ the movies!!!!

Read the book, and liked it very much. Won't see the movie, because I already know the ending.

I have read the book, The movie looks so much different then the book. Someone said the movie ending was different then the book ending, I hope not.

I won't go see it, I cried in the preview.

They changed the ending in The Notebook....that majorly annoyed me...

I read it a while ago. Cried a lot at the end. I don't like that they changed the ending, but I will probably go see it anyways.

Yesterday, I heard a movie critic, who saw the movie and had read the book, say that they movie is very different from the book.

No one else in my family wants to see it, so I'll go see it with you! ;)

Didn't they change the ending in The Firm, too? I can't imagine another ending to the story, and it seems the movie is never as good as the book, but I still want to see it.
