I understand the sentiment, but it could be just as well applied to dues.
Is it "fair" to owners of say BCV to pay more dues than those at OKW? After all, a point is a point is a point. If OKW owners use their points to stay at BCV (or any resort with higher dues), aren't they "reaping the benefits for free"? Don't BCV owners pay a premium to stay at OKW - higher dues for the points they use to stay there?
Shouldn't all members pay the same dues and all resorts' operating expenses be spread over the entire membership?
DVC just isn't set up that way.
It might be interesting to see if posters here would support a change to such a system even though I don't think it is possible under the current contracts we all signed.
