Who participates in 'My Points?'

Do they bombard you with massive amounts of emails? Does it take really long to accumulate points? Is it worth it?

Yes, I got bombarded with emails. I am glad I used a second email account. I gave up after 3 months and only accruing $8. There are some people out there that swear by it.

I've been doing Mypoints for about 2 years now. I set up a separate e-mail address just for it, so I wouldn't have to deal with all of the mail at once. Over the 2 years, I've been pretty good about remembering to go through Mypoints to do online shopping, and have also used the printable coupons from them. I've cashed out for $150 in gift cards (and I don't do a lot of online shopping, i swear :))

I've heard others on here talking about other programs, but I've been really happy with Mypoints.

I joined My Points when Bzz Agent started using them for rewards. I set up an e-mail just for MP. Most of the e-mails are point clicks. I just do the the e-mail clicks, Bzz stuff and an occasional offer. I do surveys, offers and shopping at Sunshine Rewards. I get enough for at least a $25 gift card a year just doing what I outlined above on MP. I usually do all the e-mails once a week. HTH!

I've been with My Points a few years, I buy the pets meds from 1800petmeds but go through the mypoints site and get so many points per dollar spent...anything I would normally buy (a magazine subscription) something in a Sears store to name a few I go thru the site to earn points. I too set up a 2nd email address for it. I usually only accrue 5 points at a time when I get the emails I scroll down fast to the place you click let the link page load and there you go another 5 points. Thousands of points can be earned pretty quick. Then you redeem them for lets say a gas card (don't think I've seen it lately) or a Cracker Barrel Restaurant card, whatever....seems like free & easy cash to me :thumbsup2 Sunshine Rewards I signed up for after seeing it on the Dis but I personally don't think it's so great

I use it and love it. the emails are easy quick links. I earn around 50-100 per year just doing the emails.

I have belonged to Mypoints since 2004. I have earned around 150.00 each year since joining. Mostly I have cashed out for gas cards for our trips. I do a good amount of online shopping through them, especially around christmas, and they do send out emails regularly. The other site I have been using for quite a while is sunshine rewards. I have earned almost 800.00 dollars with them and have always cashed out for Disney gift cards.

Emails get you usually 5 pts a pop. To really earn lots of points you need to shop through their partners, those will earn you a certain # of pts per $ depending on the merchant.

I have been doing it for years, just to my regular email address. No issues. I don't get a ton of emails from them, but I open them right away and then trash them so they aren't a bother at all.

I do not shop through them (do it through ebates) but still earn probably atleast $30 a year. Quick and painless!

I guess that's how I got roped in (Bzz Points), but it so easy. Usually each morning, I get 6-8 e-mails and all I have to do is click thru and glance at the linked page for 5 points. Occasionally do a survey for 50 or more points. I don't usually buy from any of the links, but no harm no fowl.
I get like 2 $25.00 gift cards a year for Outback Steakhouse, or Chili's for my efforts.
I think it's easy enough. I like free food.

I really like mypoints. I've been doing it for a few years and have gotten a few gift cards here and there. I think its a good feedback for what you do.

Yep, I'm pleased with it. I've been really doing it for about a year and a half, gotten probably $200 or more in gift cards. I did open a different email for it, not knowing, but I don't get spammed by them... I'm thinking if you fill out info for certain "offers" you may get spammed by them :confused3 ? I only fill out the mypoints surveys, never for any of the offers. I get probably 6-10 emails to click through a day, most of my points come from the tool bar. I do my searches each month and if you have the tool bar you get points when you shop even if you forget to log into mypoints. I don't stress about missing points, trying to keep track that I get everything, I take what they give me and accept it as free $$$. I think they've missed a couple points for eBay auctions, but no biggie!
I've not found anything else to pay out as well, sunshine rewards was confusing and never did figure it out, never had offers or anything....

I do My Points and use my regular Email address and it isn't like I'm flooded with stuff..just several a day and most get you points for clicking. So far I've gotten $150 in gift cards..all to Rainforest Cafe since we take family there to eat when we go to Disneyland. I also do Sunshine Rewards and just got a $100 Disney gift card. I first check SR to shop online and if they don't offer the vendor I try My Points. No problems with either.

I started using mypoints in Jan. of this year.

It is taking me awhile to accumulate points since I don't do much online shopping anymore. I only get 1 email from them a day which I click on right away.

I do a few surveys a week. I figure a couple of more months and I'll have enough money for a gift card.

It doesn't take much time and it's free money so I figure, why not?

I have done mypoints for years. I get 5-10 emails a day. Most you can click through for 5 points each. I use a separate email for surveys & mypoints.
I have cashed in for a $50 gift card this month & a $75 dollars worth just before Christmas. I bought things for Christmas online at Target, Overstock, Old Navy & Walmart all through mypoints.
I love it! It is easy money.

I've belonged to My Points for over 3 years. I probably earn $200-$300/year in gift cards. I do shop thru them when I can (Best Buy on line and pu at store, Wal-mart ship to store, etc) as well as doing surveys and clicking to read e-mails. They also send offers on your anniversary date in the program and your birthday. I have a Yahoo account that I use for My Points and for freebies so I don't get a ton of junk e-mails coming to my regular account.

Usually cash in for Home Depot, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse.

I just checked my account last night and I have been a member since 1998! :scared1:

It is the only online program that I've managed to stick with - all the others I found too cumbersome. I get several emails a day - you don't even have to really "look" at the links, just click on them and make sure the new window opens - then I just close it and I still get the points. I usually *don't* do the surveys, but I look for other easy points.

Any online shopping I do, I check to see if I can get points for it, I print coupons from their site and get 10 points per coupon used, and I play some online games at WorldWinner where I get 5 points per dollar. I also just discovered you can get points for Priceline (and other online booking sites), so I got a ton of points from naming my own price a couple of times.

I average about 6000 points per year and I always redeem them for Rainforest Cafe gift cards that I save for our Disney trips. I usually have at least $50 for each trip. :thumbsup2

mypoints dot com (I don't know if I can directly link it or not) or just google MyPoints.

mypoints.com

I've been doing my points for a long time. I have a hotmail email account that I use just for mypoints emails and sign ups. I'm not sure how much $$ I make but the gift cards I earn are a nice benefit. When I shop online (not often) I always check to see if the store is on my points first.
