Who needs May/June codes?

Well I just tried to call and ask them to check if I'm eligible for any codes, but they refused to do it. They said, you will get an e-mail if eligible.

Perhaps you might try again? I had no trouble and had to call back again to make a change. I do not have an email (although I accidentallly deleted 2 recently before reading either).

The first time she checked my family profile and she even straightened out too many profiles. She seemed knowledgable and was quite helpful. I had to call again as I was thinking of changing the dates and that CM also found the code and was again very helpful.

I tried and was told twice that I cannot use it without a pin number. I was trying for the Deluxe, of course he did tell me that the code was available if you had the pin. That made me even feel worse.

If the code is not published on Mousesavers for public use then you are going to have to have a PIN. Anyone that thinks otherwise if risking starting your vacation in a very bad situation of losing your discount at the desk.

The travel agents, moderators and Mary of Mousesavers know what they are talking about. Please do not book these codes without the proper PIN and run the risk of ruining your trip.

I just spent a truckload of money on AP's a code would be perfect to help me feel that I did not maks a mistake. Going May 7-14 2005 (so far).

Just got an email from Disney --- AP rates are out for Sun-Thurs, Feb - April. I won't print the code but rates are $79 for value, $199 for deluxe, etc.

Of course, I need AP rates for May.......here's hoping in a few weeks I'll get another email!

My understanding is if CRO books the reservation, and the deposit is accepted then come check-in it must be honored. No one has ever asked for proof of a pin at check-in - I do not take my pin/code with me as I trust it's all in the reservation. No one has ever told me I needed to present it at check-in.

When I suggested calling again it was meant to the poster who said the CM would not check to see if there was a code on her profile. I would not encourage anyone to try to book a reservation now that it is known to be a pin code. I simply asked CRO to check if I had one,which she did, so I booked tentative stays. Have to decide if I can manage another trip so soon

I booked yesterday and received the discounted rate on WL June 22 for 10 nights. I called today to confirm my rate and the CM told me that I was NOT eligible and she didn't know how the CM yesterday was able to book this because I didn't have the PIN on my profile. I would like to know that too. I certainly do not expect anything that I am not eligible for.

At first I was disapointed but now I am glad that I checked. I would hate to have a big problem at check in. So I told her to change it back to rack rate, that I was a AP holder and I would wait for AP discounts to come out. She said they would probably be out in Feb. and just to let the reservation stay as it is and call back to book the AP rate. So that is what I will do.

I hope everyone who booked this rate will really have this rate at check in. I would hate to hear that someone's trip started out on such a bad note.

I called again and got a very helpful cm who said that this is a "direct mailing" code. So if you don't get a post card, or e-mail, it's not meant for you. Oh well, I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed for other codes. I wouldn't want to book this code. There's too much confusion. I have AAA code for now and will keep checking Mary's site for other codes.

It is okay to post the AP, FL res, and any other "public" code here, just not the PIN codes. In fact we have a discounts page here on the DIS that lists the codes.
