Ok, I love, love, love this show! DH got me season 3 on DVD for Mother's Day and I have been watching it for the past 3 days.

I missed the first episode last night, what happened and who is that girl that JD was with? On the second show, do you think she is pregnant by JD? That would be hilarious if they all had kids.

I am a HUGE Scrubs fan. The ending last night was quite shocking. I can't imagine JD being a dad. :rotfl2: He can barely take care of himself. I think it would be HILARIOUS if they all had kids.

The "new" lady doctor is a surgeon who has been there all along. ;) Terk explained that JD doesn't "see" women who wear wedding bands. He asked all the married ladies to take off their wedding bands and there was a sea of women that JD was not seeing. JD became smitten with this doctor, but knew hands off since she was married. Turns out she was no longer married but wore her band to keep others from hitting on her. JD had a patient that she evaluated for surgery, and decided not to do the surgery. JD was happy until Dr. Cox explained WHY she chose not do the surgery (he was an elderly patient, with bad heart, BIG RISK and she didn't want to hurt her surgery stats if he died). JD then got upset and basically told her off. She then did the surgery. When he asked why, she said that for some reason his opinion matters to her.

Another storyline was that Elliot was thinking about breaking up with Keith because he never stands up for himself and Elliot wants a man who will stand up for her. Carla pleads with Elliot to reconsider and they end up getting into a fight about it (Carla was in a highly emotional state of pregnancy hormones). When Elliot and Carla get into it at work, Keith stands up for Elliot and all is well.

Miss Jasmine, I saw all the parts you described, what happened after she told him that what he thought seemed to matter to her? What did I miss? I'm assuming something must have happened if you are talking about JD having kids... I think that would be TOO shocking!

Did you see the second episode? That's how it ended.

I have to run or I would post the second episode info. Maybe the OP can since she saw that one and not the first one. :)

I love Scrubs! I was watching Glenn Beck the other day and he interviewed the guy who plays Dr. Cox. They said that last night's episode was supposed to be the last one ever but NBC changed their mind and ordered 22 more episodes for next season. They did the last 10 or so episodes the way the cast wanted because they thought it would be their last season and final episodes. I didn't know they were going to be cancelled so this was all a shock to me but I'm so glad NBC changed their minds and saved it. Love it!

Hi Miss Jasmine, no I missed the second episode... hopefully I can get a re-cap...

I'd heard they were thinking of cancelling the show... I just hate NBC, for YEARS they have messed around with the time and day of the show & for the longest time I had no idea when it was on, if it was on :( This show should have ALWAYS been part of the Thursday programming.... and it was for a short time until it was trumped by Trump's Apprentice.... not that I'm bitter LOL...

I'm so glad they decided to renew for another year. I love Scrubs! :goodvibes

We love Scrubs! It is so funny! We're glad it will be around for another season.

Scrubs is by far the best all-around comedy on TV these days. No other show combines its humor and sincerity quite the same. There are other funny shows, there are other shows that make you think, but how often do we get a show like Scrubs that can consistently do both - make us laugh and cry all within the same 20 minutes? Like the episode from season 1 or 2 with the old woman who decides she's lived enough and done enough and is ok with dying and JD can't handle it - that show has a lot of funny moments but will also tear your heart out (if you have one).

It will be a very sad day in our house when Scrubs does finally end.

And why isn't season 4 out on DVD yet!!!! :confused3 :teeth: ;)

The only other show recently that we've loved as much was the briefly aired whos on Fox - "Wonderfalls" that was cancelled by the idiots at Fox after a whopping 4 episodes in bad time slots because apparenlty America isn't capable of enjoying a show that is above a 2nd grade intelligence level... how Frasier ever lasted more than 2 episodes is one of the great mysteries of the world!

And for the record - I don't think the baby is JD's. Just a hunch. They want us to think it is, but that is just why it probably isn't - the writers are always setting you up to think one thing and then hitting you with something out of left field that you should have seen all along and yet somehow didn't...

Can anyone tell me what happened in the second episode? :confused3 Somebody must have watched it?

Ok, I will try to sum up the 2nd episode, I may be missing something.

JD went out with the surgeon, they went horseback riding bareback on the beach, she loved it but he ended up hurting himself, down there if you know what I mean. She examined him right there on the beach. Later they show them sitting on a sofa joking how she got to third base. They were just about to kiss when Elliot came in interrupting the moment. He later went to ask her out again when Elliot said they had tickets to a Neil Diamond concert.

There was a baby shower for Carla and Turk at the hospital. Everyone playing games and eating. Dr. Cox and Jordan brought in a huge pile of gifts, they gave them all of their baby things and joked that it was their turn to suffer.

Later on, Dr. Cox and Jordan are at home and she tells him that she has been feeling sick for two weeks. They both look shocked and she runs to take a pregnancy test. She is pregnant again. They announce it to the hospital staff. Carla and Turk take all the baby stuff back to their house since they will be needing it again. Since he was suppose to have had a vascectomy and it didn't work, Dr. Cox and Jordan duck tape the doctor to his chair and have the barber shop quartet of the hospital sing "I want my baby back baby back" song from the Chilli's commercial but just sing I want my baby back baby back over and over again to torture the doctor because they never say the word "ribs". :rotfl:

JD is at home alone and the lady surgeon comes by. Elliot tells him that she will take her boyfriend to the Neil Diamond concert. JD and the doc are sitting on the porch staring at the stars and then start making out.

Later, they show JD showing up at the docs house with flowers, he tells her that it has been 2 1/2 weeks and it is time for their 3rd date. She tells him that she is pregnant :scared1: and the show ends.

Now they really never show that JD and the doc messed around, so I don't know if the baby is his or not. Can you imagine him being a daddy?

Right, and if they did do something, they did it out on his deck surrounded by all those gay couples!

Thanks for the update! I'm sorry I missed the second episode, sound pretty funny... Ah, I bet it's not JD's... but that story about taping the doctor to the chair with the quartet sounds hilarious!
