I really like the personalized bricks on the walkway in front of MK, but the Leave a Legacy in Epcot is a real Eye-sore... I wouldn't be upset if it was all of a sudden removed!!!

Exactly Couldn't have said it better! I do have a tile there because a friend got me it when we finished working in Disney (well actually I have two because after a year of waiting my tile still wasn't up and I was told it was due to Hurricane Charlie knocking it down until I pointed out that Charlie actually hit 3 days after the tile had been brought so it would have been a miracle if it had been there so they gave me a duplicate and still the original one took 8 months longer than the replacement to put up) but I would not have paid for it myself. It was a waste of money

Hate it, it looks like a graveyard. Sometimes when I walk past it, I hear a kid say to their parents, "who are all those dead people?" or "are those people dead?"

We got it as part of a package in 2004. We took a picture of our 2 DDs.

We have stopped and seen it the last 2 years.

I have noticed some tiles seemed faded from the sunlight. :confused3

Someone a few posts back mentioned about stars at MGM, similar to the Walk around The World bricks! I'd love to see that!

We like it. We got two panels as part of our Disneyana Convention package several years ago. We are on the same panel as N'*Sync so it is easy to spot our panel. The finish on the N*Sync boys as been dulled. On each visit we go over to our panel and rub it for good luck.
Wow - fellow Disneyana Conventionears. Sure wish they had continued that program. My wife & I did it from 1995 till the end. Lots of fun. :goodvibes

I love the hand over Spaceship Earth. It provided much-needed fantasy to an otherwise stark, antiseptic building.

Leave a Legacy doesn't impress me. However, it doesn't really affect very much, and is easily ignored.

My thoughts exactly :thumbsup2

Ugh. That unslightly graveyard. :scared1:The pictures are also difficult to see. Get rid of it and refund people their money.

We went back to WDW in May after 10 years and were shocked at the sight of the leave a legacy slabs. We were like "WHAT THE ?!?!??!?!" lol IMO they are hideous and really detracts from the EPCOT entrance.

I guess we like it. We always stop to look for our picture. I just wish it was located in a different part of Epcot. I think it spoils the entrance area.

We liked it. DS had run running around (and trying to climb) the blocks.

We did one for DS because we though it would be neat and reasonablly priced.

While its been said by some that it will only be there until 2020, the paper work only specified that the images would be displayed somewhere within Disney for at least 20 years from the programs inception. There's no reason to believe that Disney won't remove them when 20 years is up unless their up-keep becomes a money issue or surveys indicate that most don't like them. Based on this current poll, it doesn't sound like there is an overwhelming voice on the no side.

What I really like about the idea is if they stay around for more than 20 years where DS (who's picture we did for it) were able to take his child to Disney and show the image.
