I'm trying to find something to do in my spare time, after Dh and Ds are asleep. Reading has lost its interest for the time being.
Ravensberger has a huge 18000 piece puzzle. It looks really fun but I don't have the space for it. Anyhow now I'm looking for a good hard puzzle to do. The 3-D ones are fun but I'm going to have to get one of those mats you can roll out because otherwise I know the dogs will eat a piece or 12 and I'll never be able to finish it LOL!

Anyone else jigsaw puzzle lovers?

I love jigsaw puzzles....great stress reliever. We have a great one we picked up at wdw last year. 1000 pieces, picture is called 4 parks, 1 world and has a lot of characters. Only one I've ever seen in the parks.

UGH jigsaw puzzles  NOOOOOO

I hate hate hate puzzles! my mother said I would never play with puzzles even as a child.

DH and I both really like doing them. We have not done one since DD came along though. We have a puzzle store in our mall and saw the mats that you mentioned. Do they work well? I might have to look into them. :)

I love them! My mom and I usually have one, big ongoing one in our living room. When I was younger we used to work on it before it was time for school. I never liked the 3D ones though. Maybe I'll go start one now... hmmm....

I absolutely LOVE puzzles. I like the kind that are very hard. Some of my favorites are my Jelly Bean one and my Finding a needle in a Hay Stack (all hay with one needle) puzzle. I cannot wait to do my mosiac Mickey puzzle. I was just wondering the other day if my kids (6, 5, 4) are old enough to help me without losing/ruining the pieces. I'd love to start up with this hobby again.

Has anyone used one of those mats that you can roll? Do they work well or does the puzzle get messed up? I'd gladly invest in one if I knew it would work.

Jess

Yes, I love jigsaws, but those mats aren't all they make them out to be.

I have one & I'd much rather work without it than with it:(

A friend of my Mum, also does jigsaws on a regular basis, she too has a mat & prefers to work without it as opposed to with it.

But if you're short on space & need to pack it up, then it's good for that, but that's about all it's good for:(

Would any of you guys be interested in taking part in a jigsaw exchange? I was thinking of organisiing one in the near future.
