Ok ppl no more about your stinky old dogs on my CAT thread....there's a dog thread by Empare out there. LOL I am totally messing with you of course, I don't care, I like doggies too. In fact, I wanna see fish and birds and lizards and hamsters and ESPECIALLY snakes! I love snakes, I used to have one but my ex has custody and I miss her

How nice, cats and dogs in VMK, I could see it now....lol. Aristocats, Balto, Lady and the Tramp. Maybe we can have ducks and lions too, I mean lets see....Donald Duck, Simba....AH, its turning into a zoo. Too much for my head to handle this morning...lol

here is my ADORABLE kitten. this is her first Christmas, and she has yet to take down the trees! LOL (her name is Emma (hmmm.. i wonder where my VMK name came from??? LOL)

We do have 2 fur babies of our own - Skyler, he's 2, and Jasmine, who turned 1 on Halloween!

We hadn't planned on getting pets for awhile as my DH is in the military and we aren't done moving around yet, but these kitties found US and the rest is history!

Someone sent me that pic at my last job and I about died laughing. I even had it as my desktop background at work for while! Do you know the supposed story of how this happened to that cat?

I hope s/he did not go through some tramatic experiance and had to get shaved!!!!
I would really like to hear the story behind the pic. (but if it is a really sad sad story, plz do not post. I cannot STAND to hear bad things about cats!

"My sister-in law is from Oklahoma and has a slight accent. She has cats and when she lived in the south she would take them to the groomers and have what is called a "Line Cut".

"To her a line cut is when all of the fur hanging down below the cat's tummy is taken off (because it gets matted or gnarled). When she moved to Chicago with my brother, one of the cats fur got all tangled up during the move so she took it in for a line cut. She was quite surprised when she heard the price as it was twice as much as it was down south. She confirmed with the groomer that he understood what a line cut was and he said "yes, I know what a LION cut is."

"It seems her accent came out sounding like LION not LINE and this is how her cat was returned to her. She cried for a week... but not as much as the cat. It was November in Chicago and the cat needed all the fur it had."

P.S. I just have to add that if my cat Timmie got a LION cut....she would look even funnier. She is so fluffy that her head and feet would appear HUGE (but she is also more chunky than this cat so her body would be fat and hairless too....ewww!) I would love to see what she would look like shaved like this....but not enough to actually do it to her!

i actually have four cats.One is white with black spots and she is well,she has a little extra baggage lol.she is always grouchy and lazy.

Then there is Tori and she is very nice.She is the sister to umbra and she has a few favorite places to sleep.these are them:my moms bed,the roof(no really she climbs on the roof ),my moms bed,my moms chair and did i mention my moms bed?This is her: bc my moms bed is a warm water bed.

And last but not least,there is umbreon.He is the fastest strongest smartest cat in our house.He is also nice but he has sharp claws so watch out.he is cool ,sly (sometimes i turn around and find behind me without even noticing he was there!),and so fast this is him:

I love cats... cats... and more cats... lol. Unfortunately, we live in an apartment and can't have more than 2 *limit 2 loose animals per apartment*. When we get some pictures on our computer, I will post a pic of them both here for all to see.

But we do have more pets too. We went around the "loop hole" in the contract. Says "loose animals". So we have a whooooooooole lot more in cages... rofl.

List: 2 cats, 3 sugar gliders, 2 canaries, 3 zebra finches, 1 lady gouldon finch, 1 cordon blue finch, 3 teddy bear hamsters, 2 gerbils, 2 chinchillas, 3 ferrets, 1 genet, 1 african gray parrot, 2 bermease pythons (1 rare albino and 1 rare green... both babies but over 9 feet long) and finally 1 salt water aquarium... (to include 1 Nemo and several others).

WOW lol.my cats arent the only pets either too.i have a dog,a couple of fish,hamsters,dwarf hamsters and finches.but we used to have cockatiels,degus and puppies

Well i have now 4 cats and one dog.I just lost one animal a few days ago. It was my hamster,He was four and a half years old. So he lived a long time and had a good life. To me it is very hard to let go of animals. But i am just happy that i have all the other animals.
