Growing up I LOVED to go to Coney Island to get the VERY WELL DONE hotdogs from Nathans. Today I buy them from Sam's Club and leave them to nearly burn in the George Foreman grill. I LOVE them crispy! YUM!!

Ack! Eww!! Bah!!! I HATE hotdogs, but worse than a boiled hotdog is a burnt hotdog or just the smell of a burnt hotdog! My mother loves them burnt and I get to smell them cooking ... either in a pan or on the grill. Yucko!

Crispy?!?! Hotdogs can be crispy?!?!?

My mom likes overly cooked bacon too, Micca!

Sahlen's are the best hot dogs. They burn up VERY nicely.

Yes it does. Because I, on the other hand, can't stand toasted marshmallows, not burned not lightly browned - don't get my marshmallows NEAR an open flame! I like them right out of the package.

You can redeem yourself if you meet flaps' criteria for eating "toasted" marshmallows:

1. Stick marshmallow on a stick (or whatever).
2. Thrust marshmallow directly into flame and catch on fire.
3. Do not extinguish flaming marshmallow, but allow the fire free reign.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 as necessary until marshmallow resembles a lump of coal.
5. Pull off the burnt "skin" of the marshmallow with fingers and enjoy just this burnt part.
6. Return the "skinless" white marshmallow to the fire and repeat steps 2-6 until marshmallow is "toast," i.e. history!
