You now have more TR and no comments from you. What's going on?, Life getting in the way
Well, we don't want your TR to end...(just like being on the cruise!)...but we are anxious to hear more.
No pressure (how dare real life get in our way). Just good to know you are OK - we get worried here, you know!
Thanks for the concern. I'm the same way when I'm reading a tr and the person stops posting. You really do worry that everything is ok because now you feel like you know them.
Good to have you back, purplepeg! I was missing the continuing adventures of Mini Montana and crew.

Find those photos...gotta see them!
I'm still looking 'cause I know, what's a tr without lots and lots of photos.
Thank you for updating! I am glad you guys had such a good time. Can't wait for pictures. Next time, you have got to try the cookie dough ice cream (although I had pina coladas there too.

) When we went, I got a cone and ended up giving it to my daughter. I went back for another one and they were closing up.

So, next time I am getting one early.
That's the beauty of wanting to go back, you can try all the things you missed the first time

Thanks for letting me know.
I just found your TR and read the whole thing through, my eyes are tired now.
What a wonderful report, your pictures are awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to do such a great report, it is a lot of work but very much enjoyed and appreciated. I am anxiously awaiting my first
DCL cruise, actually I am beyond anxious ... I"m obsessed. It will not only be first on DCL but first on any cruise so it will be a lot of new.
Oh I'm so glad you found us

You will have such a great time and there's nothing wrong with being obsessed, it's perfectly normal here on the dis. I'm sorry your eyes hurt, I hope I helped you with any questions you may have had. Have a great time.
Purplepeg, How did you bring the chocolate on board, in a carry-on or checked bag? I read you can't send food in a box shipped to the boat, so I was curious.
Also if I were to share any goodies with the CMs at the kids clubs how many would you expect I should bring? I would like to have a little something special in addition to regular tips, but want to bring enough for the whole class if you KWIM.
Thanks!
I think the food issue may be with opened packages and produce. I had bought the bags of hershey kisses and mini bars that were out for Valentine's day. I "budgeted" for one for the room steward, server, asst. server, head waiter, and then I brought about 4-6 more packages for anyone else we may run into and the kids club counselors. We had brought a bunch of snacks for the plane and the room like 100 calorie packs of Doritos, cheetos, crackers, those bags of individually packed Smarties (Canadian-better than M&M's)I can't even remember what else. Anyway, as we were packing we had lots left over so we sent all the leftover(unopened) snacks and bags of chocolate to the kids club when we picked the kids up for the last time. They were so excited. I can't believe I forgot to mention that in my report. They were such a big part of our trip and they were fabulous. Anyway, all that chocolate was in my checked luggage and that's how I had room in my luggage for my souveniers. No one asked about it in my luggage. I also heard the counsellors like food from the dessert buffet. I read that someone brought a couple of plates for them to share. I think there is close to twenty or so counsellors if I'm not mistaken.
I, too, just found this report and it was "yesterday" when I started reading it. I head out on my first
Disney cruise this Sunday. Been on many other lines, but so excited for this one. I have a dd3 as well. It will be just the 2 of us.
Love the idea of gifting chocolate at the end. Can't wait for your answer on how you got it onboard. What did you do for the kid's club counselors"
Where did you order the sand pails that you had sent to the room? I haven't found anything like that online or in the book they send you.
Did you ever catch up with your fellow dis-ers onboard?
For Geodoc - can you goecache with a gps enabled cell phone? It doesn't seem to be off by more than 10' or so. This just seems like fun. Might be worth the roaming charges to try it out once. Better yet, might try it out at home.
You were my first DCL trip report and the other's have a lot to live up to now!
Firstly, thank you for choosing our report to read

You must be beside yourself with excitement, I would be.

I hope I answered your question above about the chocolat and how to get it onboard, and what we did for the counsellors. You 2 are going to have so much fun together

I got the sand buckets from The Perfect Gift. It's in Port Canaveral and I believe I just googled it but if you do a search on here she posts alot and alot of people use her. You can ask for all kinds of things in the buckets, we had tattoos, nail polish, lipstick, gloss, 2 bottles of water, 2 pop(soda), 1 large movie candy (M&M's), cookies, chips or doritos, fruit gummies. They were great on the phone too, so look them up! I never did catch up with any other Dis-sers and our meet thread dissolved right away.
Well you certainly walked off anything you consumed on CC!!
I hope you got some time to just sit and relax.
Your Titanic-phobia DD is just cracking me up!
I did get to sit a bit but not nearly as much as I wanted too

That Titanic phobia is quite hilarious now....then, not so much
