I saw on instagram today, someone received their luggage tags. These tags were changed to more traditional looking characters....does anyone happen to know/have pictures of the luggage tags they have received for their upcoming trip? We are going in September so still a little ways til we get those in the mail.

I saw someone post this too and was pretty upset since we didn't get luggage tags because we booked room only (hoping to do a package next time to get them). The only thing I did notice was that the person I saw post was from the UK - so maybe its a UK thing?

No, you only get them with a package.

How long before trip do they send them? We have the free dining package with room and tickets, so we should get those too right? I hope so they are cute!!

They come in the box with Magic Bands, so about 30 days out

Well, that explains why we didn't get one. We still had the ones from our last trip on our bag, but I do love these that look like the Mickey Shorts characters!

Last year we ended up getting 4 grey ones instead of the ones that corresponded to the band color.

Had you customized your bands on MDE?

I must not have done something right my last trip, i only got the upc code sticky strips to get the bags to the resort.

Yes, my guess is they just ran out of the correct colors. It wasn't a huge deal, especially since we drove last year.

They arrive with (and match) your magic bands. Make sure when your magic bands arrive that you pull up the cardboard where the bands sit because the tags are hiding under there in the bottom of the box.

ME tags are totally unrelated to Magic Bands and the luggage tags.

On another note, has anyone else received their MDE luggage tags well in advance of the trip? At the 150 day mark before our trip, the yellow luggage tags for our RT transportation appeared.

We leave in 9 days.

But it's all good, plenty of time to attach them.
