I went to the physical therapist yesterday to see if that will help relieve some of my back problems.
She said to me (and I hope I can convey this as logically as I can as I understood it) that there is bone at the bottom of the spine which I assume is the tailbone. Sacr-a-something. She likened it to a dolphin tail(?). She said the reason I am having so much trouble is because the bone is twisted and stuck to the side. It should move up and down as one bends forward and back, mine doesn't. She was trying to unstick it yesterday. She also said there are two other areas that have what she called pet-doors that "swing" up and down also as you move. Mine like to stick (guess I need some WD40).
Does this make any sense to anybody?
It sounds strange to me as I didn't realize there were bones back there that could move around so much. I'm not doubting her, just trying to sort it out in my head.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Has anyone been through this before?
I have to go 2X a week for 30 minutes for the next 6 weeks to try and correct this. I sure hope it works!
I know I was hurting yesterday after she tried to move that thing around. Thankfully it doesn't hurt as much today. The back pain is still there, but not from the "ouchies" of yesterday! LOL
