The large oil companies created that insanity. I can't blame those kids for cashing in. Most people who work up there live in a holiday trailer or camper last approx 3 years and then they go pay cash for a house elsewhere. There is all kinds of problems up there.

My DH was there briefly last year..he said the folks in Tim Hortons make $26 an hour.

Yes unfortunately they need to make that much just to put a very basic roof over their head
