So very excited that you have TWO upcoming trips...I couldn't be happier for you....I think with everything you've been dealing with...you deserve it I did almost have heart failure when I thought you weren't going in August....but yippppeeee that you still are!! Once that May trip is over, we'll have to compare our plans and make some plans of our own girls!!! We cannot wait for August!!!Are you going to have a PTR going?

Sorry I almost gave you heart failure! When Dale kept saying May, Caitlin and I were no we have to meet Queen and Jasmine in August! So he suggested we do both So yes we need to make some joint plans!

We haven't discussed if we're going to do a PTR. We need to finish this TR first

That's so exciting that you have TWO trips on the horizon! There is talk of going in May (Nothing set in stone yet) but it would probably be later that week. I graduate from MSU that weekend (7th or the 8th).

That's awesome that there were no lines! I have your same aversion to the teacups...when I was little my dad liked to spin them real fast, now if I get near them I have flashbacks

You guys got a ton done that morning-- the lack of waits must have been awesome! I love the story of the princesses and the boy in the wheelchair-- only at Disney do they dedicate so much energy to making people happy! Just beautiful!

Hi! It's just going to be Caitlin and me so we're thinking probably Pop. (we're trying to keep it low cost) We're hoping for the 29th to the 1st or 2nd. Caitlin wants to pay her way for that trip so our length of stay depends upon how much money she can save up. Her talent agency says there will be a lot of movies this summer so keep your fingers crossed!

So yesterday I read about the Expedition Everest 5K that is being held on May 7th and decided that it would be a great challenge for this non-runner to take on in honor of her impending 45th (getting old sucks) birthday. Caitlin was totally onboard after doing the Princess 5k last March and we decided to team up with her starting training me, asap. (lucky for me I joined a gym last April and have stuck with it so I'm doing pretty good) I was feeling really excited about taking on this challenge and then Dale went to work today.....and was told "oops there is a mixup and you can't take that week off"

I was really disappointed about the race, not being able to meet up with MEK and feeling frustrated with it all BUT he ended up getting the very next week off So we decided that Caitlin and I will go down on the 6th and do the race on the 7th and Dale will join us on the 8th when his vacay begins So now our dates are May 6-13. I would have liked to stay until the 14th (because the only adr for the 3 of us at Ohana was on the 13th) but my godson is getting married that day so we have be home.

So I just booked our airfare and remade adrs and we're good to go. I didn't get quite as lucky with adrs this time out though. I wasn't able to get LeCellier but I did get 'Ohana for mine and Caitlin's first night. Should be a lot of fun as well as a lot of work getting ready for the race

You're right it was a great morning

I loved watching Bert and Mary! They talked and walked like they just stepped out of the movie

We are really looking forward to going back to CSR since last time we were there it was Dec. and we didn't get to use that cool pool.

After separating from my parents for the second time on this trip I ventured back to the Boardwalk. I was pretty nervous I didn't know if he would show up and I stupidly hadn't exchanged numbers with Julio so I was anxious to see where this would go. I believe we were supposed to meet up at 11 it has been such a long time


Well I showed up there a little before 11 and sat down near the coffee stand he worked at. I grabbed a tea and a cookie to snack on while I waited

At 11 he showed up. We ran into each other's arms "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" started playing on the Boardwalk. It was a magical moment. He then took me to DTD and the CM only shop there and I bought a beautiful new Disney Dooney. We also went to Disney Quest where I beat him in three games of Guitar Hero and we had lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express nearby. He was a lot of fun and it was a good memory for the vacation.






























That's what would have happened..I mean that's what I pictured happening.... 11 came and went....11:10 came and went... 11:20 came and went.. finally 11:30 arrived and I was ready to leave. I mean why waste time waiting around for a boy in Disney?! I headed to DTD by myself. figured I had the waterpark and more option on my ticket so I should use it

I got to DTD and went to Disney Quest....Major disappointment The graphics on the games were horrible! They all looked like they were straight out of the 80s with how crummy the graphics were and all of the games were terribly boring. The only game I enjoyed was Pac Man which I can play for free online or on my phone and not have to pay a ton of money to go somewhere to play it. Disney Quest is lame. Especially if you are a big video gamer it just isn't worth the money. This is why I didn't take any pictures it was really boring and I ended up staying there for only an hour before I headed over to WPE. I love my WPE! I opted for a pizza this time I I was hoping to take it back to the room and eat before going for a swim. It was a tad bit cold by the time I got back to the room but it was still delicious!

I am sorry if this update was a big let down but I built up the date prior to this day on the PTR so I knew I had to tell the story At least this isn't my last run in with a cute CM

Me too! My mom and I always sing along during the ride! I was so excited when I found that Hidden Mickey!

I had to make it exciting at the beginning! I had built it up so I had to make it somewhat interesting at first I am glad you enjoyed the story and there were much cuter CMs later on in the trip so it wasn't a big loss

I thought it would be really awesome because Disney makes good games but it was just cheesy. I also forgot to mention that the thing I thought would be cool was the Bill Nye make your own roller coaster but the graphics were also very outdated and I would suggest Sum of All Thrills instead. I felt bad for a family in front of me because the mom was going to pay $20 for the video so her son could take the roller coaster home when they could have gotten it for free at Sum of All Thrills

I am so excited to go back and ride on CoP I just can't get enough of the music!

Yeah it seemed so cool when I went there when I was in 8th grade but that was seven years ago and nothing has changed with it
