We tried booking this dinner again later in the week but it was always full :headache:

When we checked out of BWV this morning we had a ton of CS credits left so we went and spent them all on breakfast food for the rest of our stay. We had a lot of food to carry

We went back to the room my dad napped, my mom worked on our trip journal and I went on the internet. I love the Ipad! It was so convenient to check my email and post on the DIS!

We then headed to the arcade and spent some time playing games :cheer2:

Then it was time to go to the beach for their movie of the night Lilo and Stitch first they had a campfire with smores!

I was the oldest "kid" there but it was a lot of fun roasting marshmellows while looking at the Boardwalk across the way and listening to all the little kids.

We also enjoyed some drinks from the bar my dad had a Mai Tai, I had a lava smoothie which has become my new favorite drink at Disney and my mom had her regular coke.

After the campfire we moved to the beach chairs to set up for the movie and this kid comes in front of us and starts making a chair out of the sand :confused3 he then continues to interrupt our conversations and I don't remember exactly what he said but it was really awkward. Then he tells us to watch his seat while he goes and does something. We all found this funny because we weren't sure who would steal a seat made out of sand when there were tons of beach chairs open

We watched a little bit of the movie but it started to get cold and we were all tired so on our way back we saw the start of Illuminations and it was a great way to end the day!!

Up next: do I go out with the CM?
is the Wishes dessert party worth the money?

Getting close to lunch time so those food pictures are definitely mouth watering! Thanks for sharing! Yum! I am so glad you had such a great meal at your new home.

How fun to relax and watch a movie with that beautiful view for a back drop.

Weird about the kid and the sand chair! :confused3

Thanks for the update!!!!!

Thanks for the update!!!!!

I know I have a huge craving for seafood today!

It was such a great night so relaxing!

Yeah it was a weird moment haha it seemed the longer we were there the crazier the people we met were haha

No problem I hope to get back to weekly updates doing one day a week

Nice pics Caitlin!
I know my DW's mouth will be watering when she sees these.
We have the Clam Bake scheduled for next week and she's very psyched for it!
Also on the agenda is the Wishes Dessert Party so I look forward to your next update!

Cape May looks delicious...definitely one we wanna try out in the future and how convenient that it was right where you guys were staying

Watching a movie on the beach and seeing illuminations sounds like the perfect way to spend your first beach club night, and I agree that the lava smoothies are also my favorite drink at Disney.

Hopefully classes start to get a bit smoother for you, that is never fun trying to cope with the stress of that on top of everything else. Are you in second year of your program?

Can't wait for more:goodvibes

All of that seafood looks so yummy! I've always wanted to watch one of the movies on the beach-- Lilo and Stitch and s'mores on the beach sounds awesome!
That story about the kid is kind of odd. I guess some kids just get kind of ballsy at Disney! When we rode IASW last trip, a kid about 10 years old (with an older sister who didn't really say anything) kept talking to us and bothering us. He definitely wasn't special needs (DBF works with such kids and could tell), just annoying lol. He asked us to ride the Haunted Mansion with him and when we turned him down, he followed us out after the ride! We managed to lose him-- but like you, vacation isn't the time to be bothered by strange kids!

The food was amazing! One of our favorites and definitely on our list for this year!

Yay for your trip being so soon! I hope you have a great time :woohoo:

I will try to post it before you leave!

It was such a nice walk to dinner and we didn't feel rushed or anything so it was a very relaxed evening.

It couldn't have been a better night! The lava drink is awesome I could go for one right now!

Nope this is my 3rd year at EMU so keeping busy on top of all of my classes the stress level has been pretty high :headache:

The food was great!

Watching a movie on the beach was so much fun!

I am sorry about your encounter luckily the kid didn't follow us! Unfortunately this isn't the last weird encounter :scared1:

Cape May is definitely on my list now! Thanks for all those photos!

Reeaally craving crab legs right now!

Welcome back!! Great update, the food looks so fresh and yummy and so 'full', it's like they knew you were coming with your camera!! lol

Can't wait to hear more, especially about the certain CM......:rolleyes1

I believe we had one of the first seating times so that might be why everything looked so full

Coming soon!

Thanks for all the great pictures of the Clam Bake! I was thinking of whether or not I should book it for my next trip, but now I'm convinced!

Is that movie on the beach open to everyone? How easy would it be for me to get to it from another resort?

Love the message for the Dis!

Yay, an update! You took some really good pics of Cape May's buffet as well as of the Yacht Club resort.:thumbsup2 And honey, you are NEVER to old roast marshmallows!:goodvibes I love a good roasted marshmallow, although I like mine a tad on the burnt side.:goodvibes

So this kid made a chair out of sand? I'm trying to picture it! Too funny he asked you all to watch his 'seat'! We've had some kids just start talking to us at various places and it's hilarious! I'm always like 'honey, where's your mother?'

Oh, I love the Pina Colava's at Disney, sooooo good!:thumbsup2 Sounds like you had a very relaxing evening.:goodvibes

I hope this CM wasn't the creepy photopass guy!:scared1:

That was one thing I loved about photopass at the water park! My camera isn't water proof so any pictures I got of myself that day were from photopass and it was so convenient! The photopass photographer was a bit creepy though he asked me what my zodiac sign was and proceeded to tell me all about his! I didn't want to be rude but I was already late to the park opening and really wanted to go have fun! So after I politely brushed him off I finally got inside of the park!

It was delicious! I also had a great view

disney20102350.jpg

I laughed so hard when I read this!!Zodiac? Wow!

Now, I was showing my son Blizzard Beach through you pictures and he was like, " can we go there?" But he is wondering about your picture here. So Adam (7) asked you how deep is the water? (When I tell him someone responds to his questions he lol is all gitty and wants to know what his little private msg is. The best part is now he can finally read them! That happened over Christmas too.)

BB looks like a blast. Have you all been to the TL?

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to check in and let you all know we haven't forgotten about this report!

2011 hasn't started off well for us:headache:and between school and all of the drama we have going on we haven't been able to update or even keep track of the TRs we are subscribed to :sad2:

I hope you all don't abandon ship and I will try to write an update either tomorrow or Monday when I get back from my mock trial competition.

I hope your holidays were awesome and your new year is starting off on the right foot

LOL I completely understand this one. Hope school isn't killing you too much!

I tried the slide out a couple times but man is the cement you have to walk across hot!

We hung out in a tube and went around their lazy river and then it was time to go get ready for our dinner!

For dinner was Cape May! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great!

disney20102362.jpg

The hot cement brought a ton of memories back from my childhood of things like simply crossing the street. Probably the reason to this day sandles are my favorite shoe.

My wife and I just celebrated our 5 anniversary with a Snow Crab dinner. The whole dinner looks divine! I see this is one place on my VERY short list of places I must eat at the World. The other one is the one you ask for a large coke and they bring a 5 gallon drum?!

Looking forward to the next one!

No problem! I love taking pictures of Disney food

Yes it is and it just depends on where you are if you were at Epcot that day you could just walk over to the Beach Club and watch it they usually start at 9 I think or whenever it gets dark.

Thank you! I forgot that I had made that until I was looking through the pics

Thank you!

True and I also like mine burnt but charred burnt  I like the gooey inside to my marshmellows

It was like a big bump in the sand :confused3 That's what I wondered about this kid we never saw any adults with him :confused3

It was a great evening!

It might be :rolleyes1

Yeah Idk if he couldn't come up with better line but it came off very creepy! I have always heard people joke about guys asking about the zodiac sign but this was the first time I ever encountered it

Hi Adam :wave2: The water isn't very deep around most of the park. The deepest part would be the very end of the wave pool but I didn't go out there and there are tons of water tubes to sit in, in the wave pool which is way more fun then actually swimming

Yes we went to TL on the Saturday of our trip so there will be more water park fun coming up!

I am okay for right now but I hope some of the homework slows down having to write three papers within the first two weeks is crazy!

It brings back memories of my childhood too! My grandma's condo has a pool and we would always have to walk back from the pool to her condo over the hot tar of the parking lot :headache:

Aw sounds like a nice time! Is it Whispering Canyon?

Coming up soon!

Sounds like a nice and relaxing evening. We went to the Cape May clambake a few years ago and really enjoyed it as well. I think it's on our extremly long list of restaurants to get back to someday which grows every trip.

Wow, those pics of Cape May sure do look good! We went there a few trips ago for the dinner, but I don't remember it looking nearly that good or full. I'll have to remember to book it for an earlier seating next time.

I loved watching the movies onthe beach! I don't think we ever stayed for a full movie, but usually would pop in for bits and pieces of them.

After all those delicious Cape May pictures, I think I need a snack! My stomach is growling!

What a wonderful and relaxing evening spent on the beach. I really want to do one of the night movies they show at the resorts, I always have it on the list, but it never happens!
