So yesterday i went to a normal eye docter appt. my eye docter said my optic nerve had pressure on it causing to shift.
so today i went to another eye docter to confirm. turns out i possibly have a suto tumor..(means Fake tumor) i have gained a lot of weight over the past year which is causing alot of pressure near my spine causeing problems with my eyes.

so now i have to get MORE blood work done, get a spinal tap, and get an MRI......great way to start a weekend eh?

Oh dear God.

You can borrow Taylor...just for a day...but I want him back in one piece!

MRI's suck, I had one and a CAT scan done--in the same day!--last summer.

Again,

Oh I'm sorry Kelsey. I can sympathize with the MRI, but the Spinal Tap would make me a basketcase. You'll be fine tho, I have faith in you.

It's not that bad actually. I have the same thing done every 3-4 months within 4 hours. CT scans are the easiest part, in and out. (Except I can't breathe for mine because it's on my lungs)

Spinal tap tho? Dear, I give props to anyone who can survive that. I've seen one performed once and I wanted to faint.

CAT scan was easy and fine, but the MRI was dreadful. Maybe an hour in a tiny cylinder without moving. I literally felt like I was in a coffin. I ain't claustrophobic, but I started to panic after the first 30 minutes. Thank god for the ABBA music blaring in my ears.

I had to go through all that crud too. I had two spinal taps. I'm not gonna lie to you. It sucked.

thanks for all of your hugs and nice thoughts.
its really helping me.
i go to Sinai Hospital on Monday to see a neurologist and get all of this crap out of the way.:hug:

Oh my goodness, I am SO sorry!

I've never had a spinal tap, but have had several MRI's and they're no fun at all.

Good luck on Monday! Sending some pixie dust your way so that it all goes ok!
