Who Knew...January would be SO booked!!!

Trying to book a week stay in January for DD 4th b-day.
Need a 2 bdrm.
REALLY wanted BLT - no luck.

Only resort available for the entire week is OKW.

What would you do?
Stay there and/or waitlist...???

Would really like BWV - standard room, but would be happy with AKV - should I waitlist??? Or be happy at OKW???

Is there another option?
Ideas?

You didn't say what your dates are but the marathon and MLK holiday are both in January which can really affect availability through the middle of the month....

what would be best to wait list...

AKV - Kidani or Jambo? Lock off??
BWV - Standard?

I have stayed at all of these resorts before and really prefer BWV, but I am feeling like there is a 0% chance to get the full week there...

Thanks

AKV will be easier to get on the WL, but if I were to stay at my favorite, it would be OKW. LOVE OKW!!! Best bus service of all, and HUGE rooms that have a better layout than anything after them.

You know? This is a great example of why they make Fords and Chevys.

I would have waitlisted Kidani for any number of reasons. Why? Sheer likelihood of it coming through just based on the number of rooms to pick from. But then again, we prefer living at Kidani. Hands-down. Not even close.

We love to walk over to the "big house" as we call it and shop and eat and walk around, but we like going back to the much more relaxed feel of Kidani where we can look back and go, "Ahhh... home again."

Maybe it's because that's the first place we bought in and it just feels like home, but I attribute it to the fact that it doesn't feel like a big hotel like Jambo does, even thought it is significantly bigger in footprint.

I guess that's why they make vanilla and chocolate. More vanilla for us. Yea us! :thumbsup2

Well put, and we feel the same way about Kidani. We will be celebrating Christmas in a 2 bedroom savanna view there this year with our grown family.
