It does seem to ease the pain when you know that the person who has passed away was a Christian. As least you know they are dancing in heaven.

I was happy about the deals we got on the flowers and other "stuff". Weddings can be so expensive so I'm glad we are able to buy a few things at a time and at such great prices too!

We were excited to get the good deals on the wedding items. Thank goodness we can buy things here and there. It certainly makes my pocketbook feel better.

My sisters and nieces are looking forward to coming over and going through everything. Lacey is too. We've got stuff all over the place....boxes here, boxes there. We have the flowers in garmet bags hanging in closets. It'll be nice to pull it all out and look at it all at one time.

Ironing! I hate it! Mama irons all of her stuff at one time. Me? I have a trunk at the end of my bed to store the clothes that need to be ironed. I pull them out as I need them because I hate it so.

My mouth fell open when Lacey told me the news about Jesse's grandfather and uncle. It was so very sad.

That's exactly what I would be doing if I were Jesse's uncle. Even though it was an accident, I'd still feel so badly.

My aunt was very happy with the news on her thyroid biopsy. Her esophagus surgery is supposed to be March 10th and we're praying that things go well. If they do, she will only be there overnight. Isn't that the craziest thing ever....fairly major surgery one day and home the next.

I am looking forward to our get-together this weekend. We haven't all gotten together at one time since Christmas and we are long overdue for some silliness amongst family. I know it's hard to imagine us ever being silly.

I'm about to write a trip report installment but thought I'd show you pictures of Lacey's invitations and the cake she has picked out. I told ya'll she's not a fru-fru, girly-girl kind of gal. I need to take a picture of the flowers we bought this weekend. They are sunflowers and wildflowers.

And this is the cake. She doesn't want the fondant around the edges though. The bakery is going to make the layers smooth or they may add a little bit of texture. She's not quite sure she'll use the birds as a topper or find something else. She talked about possibly getting a glass topper when we are in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot.

Thank you! When she initially started looking at flowers, she thought she'd like hydrangeas or something similar. Then, the more she thought about it, the more she wanted something "natural" looking. We saw the sunflowers this weekend and she fell in love with them and the wildflowers that are going with them.

My sister came over last night and told us that we needed to get a few more stems of the wildflowers so I'll get those after work today or maybe tomorrow.

We are hoping to get a few of the table settings made Sunday afternoon so we can see what they'll look like on the table.
