Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Lisa, the pin was for 40%...I told the CM that my mom and several of my friends had recieved pins and I was very disappointed as I am the one who normally books our trip. She asked me to hold on, said there was an older pin attached, put me on hold she came back and told me it was good. But, did not have anything available with the pin at POR/FQ. So, we are trying out CBR which was my next choice. and we are giving the DDP a try. I was thinking of using 3 TS for character bf and 2 TS dinners. With the pin we saved a wopping $33, but hey it's in my pkt, right!?!

We are going on a cruise out of New Orleans in May to Key West and the Bahamas; we are traveling with friends, I'm so excited about both trips!! Disney crusies look awesome but are just so darn expensive; Danny and were talking about maybe doing the Alaska one in 2013....we'll see.

Wow! You got a 40% off pin! Good for you! I wish I had one of those attached to my name. But, I'm just happy that we got free dining which saved us a whole lot of money. I'm like you, though, even if it's just $33, that's $33 that you saved.

If you can't get in the character breakfasts, you can always do the character dinners. We've done a few of those and had a good time.

Caught up again :surfweb:. I love the pictures of ya'll making faces........:rotfl2:. The first think I thought about what the Budweiser commercials where everyone is saying "wazzzzzzzzzzzz uppppppppppppp"............:lmao:.

We didn't enjoy our most recent LeCellier meal. It seems to have lost a lot of the quality that made it good to start with, and now that they are charging 2 credits for the dinner, I don't think we will eat there for a while.

Ugh! I want to know what decision you are talking about regarding your trip, especially since you said it would be a good thing. My guess would be, is somebody being added to the trip? Did you get an unbeliebly good PIN? I'm so impatient by nature, I just want to know NOW! :rotfl:

Great, I leave in 2 days, and you leave me hanging :rotfl:JK

Love the Epcot update. I can't wait to stroll slowly and take it all in.

Hi Lisa. For some reason I unsubscribed to your TR but I'm all caught up now. It took me a few days

Sorry to hear about your BIL. I know how hard that is. I just lost my dad last week to cancer.

Glad that Lacey is back home for awhile and that she is going to Disney with you'll

Love all the updates. You'll look like you'll have so much fun acting silly.

You know us, we like to do silly faces and silly things. We just can't seem to help ourselves.

It had been a couple of years since we had eaten at LeCellier and I was a little disappointed that my steak wasn't up to par. That being said, everything else was great.

For some reason, I got unsubscribed from a few of my threads a while back too. I never did figure out how it happened.

I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad. I'll definitely be saying a prayer for you and your family tonight. The loss of a loved one is so hard to deal with.

Le Cellier is one of my favs. So sorry your dinner was less than stellar. I am not a huge steak fan, but that filet is soooooooooo good.

I really think some of the best CM wait tables at Le Cellier. I have always had the best servers there. So funny that your CM was leaving the next day. One year we had a waitress who had only been there a week and she was fabulous. She kept apologizing for being new and we kept telling how great she was doing.

What's up with the freezing cold bus! Yikes!

Okay, I'll guess I'll go ahead and tell ya'll the possible changes because I just found out it may be a while before we get a definite yes or no. I don't want to drag it out too long.

My oldest sister (the one that lost her husband in October) may go to Disney with us. The money is no problem. The problem is taking off work for that long. When her husband was sick and after he died, she had to use both her personal time and her sick days in order to continue getting paid. They have to "earn" their time off. I don't know exactly how that works but it has something to do with how many days you go without taking personal time or sick time in order to "earn" off time. :confused3 Like I said, I don't know how it works but I'm hoping she can earn enough time to go with us.

Anyway, I would love love love for her to go to Disney with us. She would be absolutely hillllllllarious to travel with. She would be the one who rides on Dumbo with her hands in the air. The one who giggles like a school girl while spinning on Primeval Whirl. The one who reaches out to grab the pearls that Ariel drops in Mickey's Philarmagic. Just thinking about it makes me smile.

Right now, our plans are as follows:

1) Leave after work on Tuesday, May 24th and drive as far as we can.
2) Get up Wednesday, the 25th, and drive the rest of the way to Disney and check into Port Orleans Riverside.
3) Stay at Port Orleans Wednesday night and Thursday night. Spend some time at DTD and chillin' at the pool. Mama would stay in the room with us these two nights.
4) Friday morning, the 27th, we check out of POR and check into Caribbean Beach Resort. This is booked with free dining. Mama will have a separate room for this part of the stay. We would check out on June 4th.

My sister is wondering whether or not she will earn enough time off to stay the entire time period. She may have to just stay from May 27th to June 4th which would mean she would have to fly down to meet us. Unless, and that's a big unless, Mama decides to not drive down with us and fly down with my sister.

If my sister does earn enough time off, she and my Mama would have to take a separate vehicle since we can't all fit in my car.

Mama will probably back out on going if my sister doesn't get to go. She has put out a lot of money lately on her vehicle ($1,000) and she still has to finish up her dental work ($4,000 work left). If my sister goes, the two would split the room costs.

So, as you can see, there are a lot of things we aren't sure of yet and that's why I hated to post anything until I knew the details. I know that my sister would have such a good time and it's just what she needs. She needs to get away from all of the memories of the last six or seven months and visit the Happiest Place on Earth.

Lisa,
I am so happy to hear that your sister is considering joining you guys. Sounds like a wonderful person to have along on a magical adventure. I'm sure she can use the distraction, as well. I hope if she is unable to make the first part she can at least fly over and meet up with you guys. How fun to have her and your mom along!
:wave2:

We love Le Cellier but I don't know that I would give up two TS credits for dinner! Last time I tried the chedder soup and it was so yummy! The only thing I have gotten is the filet like your mom got...I saw that picture and my tummy literally growled! :rotfl:

I love WS. I love just wandering around and soaking everything up. Hunter cracked me up with the paparazzi pictures!

What fun if your sister can go! She sounds like my dad-free comical entertainment!

Lisa, that would be just great if your sister gets to go!!!! :goodvibes She sure does need to get away, especially to the Happiest Place on Earth!!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for yas!!! :thumbsup2

Great updates, Lisa. I love how your family "loves" to have "fun." The jumping pictures are great as are all of the pictures of WS. I could spend days in WS. John had my absolute favorite dessert at LeCellier--the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake. :worship::worship:

I hope your sister is able to go with you...I know how difficult she had it there for awhile and it would be great for her to get away.

OH I forgot to mention my cousin got a kick out of your folded money comment. I was at my aunts this past weekend and was trying to get caught back up on trip reports and he was reading over my shoulder and enjoyed that. So now he has folded money. :)

That would be great if you sister could come to Disney with you guys. Hope she manages to "earn" enough time off! :)

It would be so great if your sister could join you. The trip would do her good. I will keep you all in my prayers for everything to work out.

BTW, DH and I leave the World on the 21st, so we will just miss you. : o (

Oh, Lisa, that is awesome! I really hope that she can earn the time off!!! I think it would be great for all of you to have that time together.

Hopefully everything works out!

It would be so great if your sister could join you - she sounds like exactly the type of person I'd like with me at Disney!! :thumbsup2 Hopefully she can "earn" her time off.

I'm starting to think we Canucks like our meat a little rarer than y'all. You're definitely not the first person to comment on their steak being too rare from Le Cellier. The way you described the first steak that was brought out is exactly how I would like it! :cloud9:

Hi there Lisa!

Epcot is my FAVORITE and WS is my favorite place in Epcot! LOVE these updates! Thanks so much for the beautiful pictures...I almost felt like I was there with you. ;)

I'd love to try LeCellier someday. I love steak so the menu is right up my alley! Sorry yours wasn't done to your liking. :sad2:

I'm so glad you missed the storm...yikes!

The jumping pictures are great! :thumbsup2
