We too had Hassan. Joined while on the 7 day disney cruise last August. Joining on the cruise was wonderful, the DVC was there all week answering any questions we could have had.
He's a good guy! He called us last October just in case we wanted an add on at BWV, as inventory was going to be gone soon. We were interested, but we were going on the Disney cruise the next week. He said no problem, I'll take care of everything. He hooked us up with his colleague who was going to be on the ship & our 100 pt. add-on was set in about 5 minutes, while cruising on the Magic. Thanks Byron!
Wonderful guide. Really no pressure. We contacted her and said we were intrested next year Jan 2001 she called us in 2000 and told us that she knew we wanted BWV and that they were selling out. We still hemmed and hawed for a month or so later (we really wanted to join on our vacation)
She called us one last time and said they were almost gone and she just wanted to let us know and that she wouldn't bother us again, she was just concerned because she knew we only wanted BWV.
We bought and sure enough a week or so later they were sold out.
We were really glad she kept us informed that they were selling out.
nothing but great things to say about her.

Our guide is Megan Butler. I haven't seen anyone else mention her name. I actually haven't spoken with her because my DH has been making all the calls. We bought into DVC without touring or anything. She will be giving us a tour when we go down for a weekend trip in May. Anybody else have Megan??
Tony Heard's our guide. Have never received any communications from him that he initiated on his own (aka a thank you note for a referral I sent him that ended up purchasing would be nice).
Our guide/salesperson was great and I don't even see his name here..... Gib McCain.
He was really nice but I haven't been in touch with him for awhile... I don't even know if he is still there.
I just bought VB through Susan Schell. She was a wonderful person to work with. I had so many questions about the process (including some "What if a hurricane blew down a property") and answered them all and or got back to me so fast with an answer. I'm sure she was tired of me calling for about a week on various questions but never once hinted that she was. She was great! I would highly RECOMMEND her!
My guide is Caryn Anderson. I bought in 1997 and
have added points twice (the 2nd add on is taking
place now). Caryn has been wonderful with each
transaction. I guess I'm somewhat surprised that
I didn't see her name mentioned before as I know
she has been there since at least 1997. If anyone
is having any problems or looking for a new guide
I would recommend Caryn very highly.
Larry Hope is our guide. He's very nice, but we've never met and have only spoken when I called to get information for an add-on at BWV. I think our original guide was James Thomas. He left shortly after our original purchase so I don't remember too much about him, although I was sorry to hear he was no longer with DVC.
We cold-called Byron and I'm looking forward to many years with him. It is great to see he has such good reviews! (I'm not sure I'd want as many people as are on the Dis boards reviewing my work.) We are filling out the paperwork for 210 pts at OKW and faxing them today! Soon we'll be members too.
We don't have a guide!!! We bought through The Timeshare Store. The name Jim McCoy does sound familiar. We did tour VB a few years back but were busy building a house and couln't buy then. Does Jim McCoy work out of VB? If so, I recall he was very nice.
