We started out with Bill Berghoefer who was with us for 3 of our contracts, but then he left We LOVED him!!!!! We were then given I believe Ricardo Florez and when we wanted to buy VGC we were told he got promoted and now we have Annmarie El Haj. We talked to her once and seemed like a nice woman, but we really miss Bill!!!

Hey Rob....we are also in NY and use the DTD location and our guide Sharod Kelley is awesome. He's easy to get in touch with, super-friendly and informative, will come in on his day off for you, and just an all-around nice guy. No sleazy salesmanship. I would highly recommend him. Maybe you could request him

We are new DVC owners at BCV, Gib McCain is our guide. I am happy to find this thread, I know this is a dumb question but what does a guide do for you?I thought member services did everything .

Basically, a guide is just a different name for salesperson. They help you in the purchase of your timeshare.
You are correct that Member Services will help you with reservations and other details concerning your trip.
If you choose to add on to your membership, it is your guide that you would contact.
