***Who is watching the Bachelorette/Bachelor?*** Updated thread

Will you be watching this season of the Bachelorette?

  • I have a membership to Bachelor Nation, been waiting for summer!

  • If there is nothing else to do

  • I'd rather watch paint dry...

If you're just basing it on looks, Cassie is far, far above the other girls in natural beauty. Colton is obviously very infatuated. Taysha is very cute, so is Hannah B., but not on Cassie's level. And her sister, even more so. Great genes in that family.

I had no impression of Hannah B from the season. Shrug.

I respectfully disagree that Cassie was miles above the other two in terms of looks. I think they are all about even. Tayshia and Hannah G were both beautiful, and neither of them ever wore much makeup so we were seeing their natural beauty. I actually thought at times Cassie was the least physically attractive of the three - I'm wasn't a fan of her hair often (the night after their overnight date - yikes) and she dressed odd for my tastes. I do think she was beautiful on the live show, and the shorter hair suits her better.

I feel the exact same way. I thought Cassie was pretty, but not more than the others. Don't get me wrong, she's beautiful, but not more than the others IMO. I think Tayshia and Hannah G are gorgeous. I was also bothered by Cassies hair and think she looks much better now with the short cute style.

I never thought of Cassie as 'beautiful'.
Just didn't....
She has always came across to me as Plain Jane - Girl Next Door.

Anybody who doesn't believe in scripting should take note that the one time she actually has her hair styled a bit, make-up etc.. is after crying her eyes out about the 'breakup', and getting ready to go board a plane for home.
Ummmmm., all righty then!!!!

Hannah G is to TOO darned cute!!!!!

Ohhhh, back to the whole thing with Cassie's Daddy.
The minute they aired the so-called After the Final Rose thing, it came out online that Cassie mentions how it was never shown on the air, but, while her Daddy told her she should not make any commitment and he would not approve.... that he had also said... and I am quoting pretty closely without pulling it all back up again.... "He said he would fine, or approve, if they dated or were 'dating'".
Lo and behold, the happy couple are now just ecstatic to announce that they are DATING.
OMG.

Yes, I thought the same. I remember on night one she had a spaghetti strap floral dress on that looks like something you'd find at Kohl's. The other girls wore gowns! It seemed relatable, albeit "plain Jane" at the time.

I was curious as to when the upcoming season of The Bachelorette was starting (Yes! It's almost time, already!) and saw a promo for a Bachelorette Reunion special airing on May 6th.

From ABC's website: "The Biggest Bachelorette Reunion in Bachelor History Ever!" lol

https://abc.go.com/shows/the-bachel...reunion-in-bachelor-history-ever-monday-may-6

Seems as though at least 12 former bachelorettes will appear on the show. One of my favorites, if not THE favorite, is Desiree Hartsock/Seigfried. I loved her, and she brought the drama! I did NOT like the guy she was originally so swept up with and who left because he wasn't into her (can't even remember his name). Chris hung in there (loved him from the start) and she ended up seeing the light as to what an amazing guy he is and now they have been happily married, with a growing family. What she said to him at the end was perfect :rose:

Who was your favorite bachelorette from the past 15 seasons? Are you looking forward to this special?

That clip makes me sorry that I missed that season. They make a sweet couple (My goodness he's good looking!).

I'm certainly going to watch this special As for favorites, unfortunately I tend to forget them once the season is over but then when I see them again I always remember how I felt about them. It'll be fun, I'm sure!

Wow, all past bachelorettes except for two (Meredith and Jen). Desiree was one of my favorites, she seemed very sweet. I also thought Kaitlyn was hilarious. This goes waayy back to 2004, but I loved Meredith's season. I'll never forget the look on her face at the end when Ian proposed to her.

I have to go back and watch a clip of Meredith and Ian.

I’m curious as to where they all are now. I know only a few ended up staying with the person they chose on the show, but I’m hoping they all have joy in their lives.

I could watch an entire show of just Chris and Hannah...they were my favorite part of tonight :rotfl2:

Meredith was one of my favorites, as well. So beautiful. I didn’t much care for Ian though

Was Meredith the one whose #2 was Matthew, the horse farmer? If so, he didn't like Ian much either. I remember him on the show afterwards when he seemed very upset. And didn't he show Meredith a "holder" for the male horse when breeding, during Meredith's visit to his home? If so, that may have had something to do with it.

Yes, Matthew was #2 on Merideth’s season. I don’t remember a lot of details from her season :/ I remember her being an only child to older parents and they seemed to lean toward Ian. I just didn’t see it there with him

Merideth has opened up in recent years about her issues with alcoholism and sexual assault on the show, which may be why she was absent from the reunion.

Anyone been watching? Watching tonight? I am going to try to watch tonight’s episode. This show is usually my guilty pleasure. But the recent dialog in Twitterverse left me with a bad taste. I picked up a summer read “The Perfect Couple” by Elin Hilderbrand. It’s kind of tapped into the spot that Bachelorette used to fill.

You didn't miss much. She refused to give Luke a rose, sent him home, and then changed her mind when he came back begging for another chance. She still wouldn't give him a rose on the date, but said she would decide at the cocktail party. She ultimately gave him one. Eye roll. That girl is the crying-est person ever. She's annoying. And, the fact that she can't see through Luke P? Good gracious. Such a player! And, she's falling for it. He should have been gone by now. Anyway, the rest of the two hours (i.e. the last hour +) was a bunch of bloopers, out takes, and her discussing her (non-existent) thought process.

I like Hannah... she does cry alot though...I think she in the most real contestant... and I think that show wants to keep the trouble makers around for a while to make it interesting... I will say that the guys on Hannah season are really hot... Normally there is a few that stand out... this season they all are pretty dang cute!

I am hoping for Tyler C... OMG now this guy is smokin' hot, and sweet... Please if she doesn't pick him... Please let him be the next Bachelor...I most definitely could look at him for a whole season... Yes Please.... LOL

I hope she doesn't pick with Jed - Sketchy- he's a player and wanting to use this and her for his music career... Sketchy dude... he just smoother than Luke...

Luke problem he just not that smart... while he is good looking and all... as well he seem to see her as a prize, and he is a guy that has to win...he probably had gotten by on his looks so developing a personality had not been a priority..

Pete is so cute and just down right adorable... If she picks Tyler, Pete would be a great Bachelor...

Tyler and Peter are my favorites. I thought Garrett was cute in the beginning, but the way he's handled the Luke P situation is obnoxious. Luke has flaws to work out, but Garrett is trying to capitalize on them and look like the house hero. But its not a good look.

The story regarding Jed's ex girlfriend that came out in People magazine this week was quite interesting, but not surprising. It aligns with what he told Hannah on their date - about how he initially came on to promote his career. I've ready his agency/management company is the one who submitted his application for the show. He reminds me of Luke Pell from Jojo's season, and I think they even run in the same circles in Nashville. Blah.

Totally agree about Peter and Tyler! Peter being a pilot put him in 1st place for me right from the start though (not the "being able to travel anywhere" aspect - I just think pilots are the coolest.) but getting to know him even a little bit, he seems like a really sweet guy.
