Who is waiting for SWA out of PVD?

Well I am insane!!!!! I wish they would just put the schedule out already. DH told me that if the schedule was not out by June first we were going to book flights elsewhere. He is tired of waiting. I keep telling him any day now... I thought for sure today would be it

Well it looks like another day of no clean laundry, dishes in the sink, and no tickets to disney. I did go to work tho ( just came home, explains why i post this late) Oh well, tomorrow is another day, I will be here with coffee in hand and seeing if this is the day that I finally take the leap to the other side of sanehood.

SWA ding let me know at about 9am that we are free to move about the country until Oct 27 if we wish to take SWA. I quickly booked ressies for a total of 7 people on several different days and schedules and then went out and had a nice lunch. Have been living next to the computer for it seems like weeks now. Good luck to all those who have been waiting. Maybe the prices will come down but wasn't willing to take a chance. - want those N/S flights from Providence.

I was on edge thinking I made a bad choice booking jetblue instead of waiting on Southwest (only b/c I wanted to go out of PVD) but the prices came to OVER $200 more through SW if I booked now and hadn't booked Jetblue...So I am happy for many of you that it is working out, and while I will now have to get to BOS @ 4:30 am I am ok with $89 each way on Jetblue
Who knows maybe prices will drop to their awesome $39 or $59 sales and I'll cry, but I couldn't wait--I am SO IMPATIENT!!! ARGH it kills me! HAHA

Waiting here too... I've been watching the Jet Blue flights for my timeframe (end Sept, beg. Oct) and today they are $5 more each way... I hope waiting for the SWA flights isn't a mistake. I'm already going to have to pay $40 (family of 4) if the SWA flights aren't cheaper.

I booked my jetblue flights (had to tweek by a day and that gave me one more day in Disney!!!) and got $89 each way...2 days later they were up to $139 each way SAME FLIGHT!!! They have gone up a tad more from there and the lowest they have come down for that flight was $119....I am releived I booked when I did...

Whoo Hoo!!!! FINALLY!!!! I am sooo excited!!! We got our flights all booked and are traveling at great times. Now I just can't wait to go!!!

Out of curiosity, for those of you who booked Jet Blue...is it a non-stop flight? I really wanted to leave from PVD but maybe in a few years when my kids are a bit older, I may not mind leaving out of BOS.

Like all of you, I'm waiting for those $49 or $59 flights out of PVD. I've never paid more than that. Hopefully, it will be soon. This is the longest we've waited. We're traveling 8/18-27.

We are still holding out too We are going Aug 24-Sep 1. And the flight times we want are still showing availibility. I am hoping for $79 each way $59 would be great.

I still haven't book Aug flights. I was sort of hoping for Wed 8/23 to Thu 8/31. I currently have 10 nights booked with free dining 8/23 to 9/2 with the thoughts that I would drop off nights when I booked air. I can book $94 each way or $205.60 rt after all taxes if we go Wed to Wed or Tue to Wed (but I don't have a room for Tue night). I too am hoping for something closer to the $59 but I just saw a ding for Manchester NH to Orlando good through June 30 for $94 so maybe the $94 is the best we can hope for.

I think I should probably just book at the $205 and if a lower price comes out get a credit-its not like I don't want to go again to make good use of the AP's!

Just wanted to add that I've only ever heard good things about Jet Blue. And they are a participating airline with Magic Express. I still think PVD is easier to fly out of but I would book Jet Blue if I could get the price and times I'm looking for. They would be $257 RT and the times aren't as good for me as SW.

I booked our flights out of Providence yesterday at 9am (just after the DING announced the new dates). This morning they were $3 more expensive per person. One member of the group is going to Raleigh Durham and then to Orlando and her prices were up a total of $14 if we had waited for today. Will still hope they come down and try to re book but wasn't taking any chances. It was $94 and $124 for non stop each way totalling 235.60 with taxes, fees etc for the PVD to MCO people. Good luck to all who are looking for those cheap seats.
