Was on hold for 40+ min on my cell (free long dist.) when my phone dropped the call. Now on hold on both cell and reg. phone. Getting frustrated

What number did you call? the 800? or regular..?

I called the regular number: 407-WDISNEY. When told to "press 1 for a new reservation, 2 to modify an existing reservation", I picked "1" because I thought they might answer the phone quicker for people looking to make new reservations than for someone looking to lower the rate on an existing one!

I am nervously waiting for my TA to email me. Poor thing - I can't imagine trying to deal with a bunch of clients right now when the reservations system is down. We'll be at YC no matter what - but I sure do hope we can save a little $$.

Was on hold for 42 minutes total - then got a *really* nice CM - got the CR tower for $2185/7 nights. She even offered a MK View/High Floor request w/out me having to ask - how nice.

Argh. I just got off the phone and shes going to call me back. It wouldnt let her book any of the rooms I wanted. I think I'll call and try a diff CM b/c everyone else seems to be getting rooms..

My ear hurts from holding my darn cell phone for 71 minutes (start to finish), but I am happy to report that we got June 3rd - 5th at PORFQ for $109/night.

I've been on hold now for 1 hour, 17 minutes. Is anyone going to answer? I'm tired of hearing "its a pirate's life for me"! How about "its an AP Code for me"!

I was on hold forever!!!
At first she said she didn't have any AP discount at my resort (Pop) for my dates (June 25-July 6).

Then I asked her if she could just put in June 25-July 4th because I knew that the discount was only till July 4th. When she did that she got it. The CM goes, "Wow, you AP holders know more about this stuff than we do!" So she had to split my ressie:

June 25-July 4th--2rooms/Preferred/Pop--$1726.00
July4th-July 6--2rooms/Preferred/Pop--$495.06

So it works out to be $95.90 (with tax included, per room, per night) versus original ressie of $123.76. One phone call and I saved $500.00!!!
My hubbie is pretty pleased with me this morning.

Anyone know the tax rate for Pop? is it 11.5%?
