Who is planning a FW vacation in October?

we havn't booked anything yet but we normally go in October for MNSSHP.

We'll be there Oct 29 thru Nov 2 in one of the new Premium Sites!

We'll be there October 19-25. I think in the 1600 loop, I have to double check the reservations. This is also assuming we survive a 20+ hour drive with two squabbling siblings.

We have a grand gathering planned for Oct 19th-31st. Hoping we will make it. We have many obstacles to get through first.

I used plywood not MDF

Heehee, yes like that!!! I guess my idea wasn't an original...heehee :) I have MDF that is why I was going to use it, but you are right in using plywood, it's lighter and would probably wear better!! Thanks for the tips!! Your Mickey head looks great!!! I may do smaller ones and attach them to stakes to put in the ground for a little path,,,I'm getting ahead of myself here. I guess I should start by booking our trip first :)

apparently I have way to much time on my hands

Not at all! The more mickey the better!! I had another idea, but I'm not sure if it will work. Do you know whether or not magnets will stick to the outside of TT? We haven't gotten ours back from the dealer yet, so I haven't been able to test a magnet. Our TT is a 2007 hybrid, where its solid but the beds flip out at the ends. I was thinking of cutting out Mickeys and Minnies and getting magnets and sticking them to the side of the trailer. I was thinking of making one for each of us or one for each of the kids...hmmm. I am way ahead of myself here...:lmao: We aren't going until October and I'm already tracing out Mickey heads,,,,apparently I HAVE WAY TO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS!!!

you would be better going to signwarehouse.com and ordering a roll of vinyl and cutting out to what you want

we had a tt and had to use vinyl because nothing stuck to it

Good Luck!

We will be there Oct 25 - Nov 01 - I bought some Mickey Halloween Pumpkin Head String lights on ebay, and found Mickey Halloween cloth to make a flag. It has been 4 yrs since we have camped at FW and can't wait to return.

We will be there Sept 26th through October 4th.

We were there at the end of October in 2005 and it wasn't very crowded at all at the parks. Hopefully this time of October shouldn't be bad at all.

I just booked our campsite for Oct 3rd through the 30th. I got a full hookup with a AAA discount. I asked about premium, but no discount was available. With the discount, the FHU site is half the price of the premium. I figure that is a few hundred dollars to spend on something else. ;) Still will have to shave some days off the front and back, but hopefully we will be there. Just wishing I had bought annual passes in Feb.

The McRed Family will be at the Fort for Halloween and Wedding Anniversary Camping from Oct. 11 to Oct. 18.
It will seem like a very looooooong Summer!!

We will be at AKL 13th-15th and the Fort Oct 16-19th! Is there some sort of people who are camping in October get together?

seabee- When we plan another trip in Oct. it will be toward the end of the month too! I hope the crowds will be a little lower but I would really like for it just to be cooler! All in all, it was still a great week to be at Disney! I hope you have a great time! Our trip this August will be hot but that is the only time we can go and still use our AP's before they expire, so no party this year!

That is what we did last year. We had gone down Dec. 2006 for DD9's birthday and then again Oct.2007 for DD6's birthday. It worked out great because we already had the tickets. We saved aprx. $200 by purchasing AP's

We will be there for Halloween this year, it's the first time we've been at the Fort for Halloween in YEARS, so I'm really excited to see everything. Now just gotta go find Reilly a pumpkin outfit....lol

We have already booked our site for the 4th of Oct. We're staying for 1 week. Can't wait! We love love love the F&W festival!!!
