If the one day ticket is an expiring ticket then it will expire after 14 days. i would call back and pay the extra for non expiring and maybee add an extra day to it. That way you can use at a later date. And as you know the more days you buy, each day costs less.

To my knowledge anyway.

The tickets only expire 14 days after first use. If you have an one day ticket it is good until you use it, whenever that might be.

Thanks that's what I thought, but the CM I got said that because it was part of a package the 14 day clock begins when we check-in. I think DH will call later to check, if that is true we will prob. do a longer ticket with the non-ex option.

Finally got in! We are at the Poly from Sept 2 - 7. Spoke with a very nice CM "Korinna". She said they had over 200 people on hold. I am so excited! We already have all of our food ressies too! I am sure it is going to be a long day for all the CMs today.

All you need to do is take your room card to guest services at the front of any park and ask them to pull the park tickets off of your room card. They will give you 1 day tickets good forever. They won't have your name on them, so they can be used in the future by anyone. I wrote the $$ value of the passes on each one to remind myself in the future and will use them next year (like cash) when I renew my DVC annual pass. (FYI, you can only apply the value of 1 ticket to each annual pass. No stacking of tickets.)

As far as upgrading an expiring 1 day MYW ticket, they don't exist. All 1 day tickets are non-expiring.

Jeffrey, I have not done it myself but having read hundreds of posts on here by people who have done so and have good reps for knowing what they are talking about I am pretty certain that info is correct. Not all CM's are creaed equal.

I just booked into Sports from September 9th thru October 3rd! 24 days, our new record!

I was told at DW that the tickets could stay on the room key and they would be good for when we wanted to use them later. I was told this at least 3 times cause I wanted to get paper tickets. Maybe I should take all my room keys back this trip and see if they WILL give me paper tickets this trip?

MOQu, I had little trouble getting my reservations last time and we are flexible so if I do not get one thing I will get another. Hope to see you there!

On hold here in Calif. All you East Coasters were lucky (of course I could have gotten up at 5 a.m. to call! ) so far about 20 mins.

I'll probably have to hang up soon, have to get DD7 off to school. At least I'm just modifying existing ressie (made a few days ago)
